  • 6805 Hillmont Dr Oakland Ca 94605 USA , Oakland, California - Millsmont
I reported this last year. And the city closed the issue saying it was resolved. However, it was never fixed. It's actually much worse now. It's at the intersection where the street inclines pretty severely and when you turn up this road, it's like going off-roading in your car. Please fix this issue!
  • 9725 Lawlor Street Oakland, CA 94605, USA - Toler Heights

The half open storm run off gutter & collection drainage street structure is collapsed. Normally there is some 2x12 Redwood planks in place so sidewalk & street Pedestrians can walk across the rain collection gutter. They are also collapsed. As a result, sidewalk pedestrians must step over a 2' open rain gutter to step from the sidewalk to the street crossing. I witnessed an 89 year old fall down on the asphalt trying to do so. I helped him back to his feet.

Secondly, the opposite street corner is even worse. Cars get damaged & stuck in both ditches.

Thirdly, the Toler Heights Council has complained to the city & Larry Reid's office for years about this problem & nothing has been done.

Fourthly, it is not enough just to put more Redwood planks. These entire Storm Collection gutters should be fully closed off & topped off with concrete & asphalt like the City of Oakland has recently done at 96th & Thermal. The moment a Motorcycle or small child falls in these collection ditches, it will be instant death or a lifetime disability for someone.

Please remember to look also at the opposite street corner across from 9703 Lawlor St. It is even worse.

Location: Intersection of Cherokee & Lawlor St.

  • 64th & Outlook Ave. Oakland, CA - Millsmont

People blow through the stop sign, accelerating instead of slowing down/stopping. We really need a small traffic circle to slow people down.

Burbank Preschool is only 1/2 a block away, and that makes for a very unsafe situation. I hope someone doesn't have to get hit before this issue is dealt with!

  • 9347 Burr Street Oakland, CA - Toler Heights
There are 6 unrelated people living in this house with no indoor plumbing. There has been a portable "huge" toilet sitting out front of the house since they have not done anything about the plumbing problem. Five weeks ago when the city "inspector" and I use the term loosely, came out The lady of the house told him they had a transitional home for men in recovery from their church. When they couldn't or wouldn't get a permit for that they changed and said they had three men being boarded in their home (they have four and I can show photographs of all four of them) which is conveniently okay with the city to have three unrelated people living there. What happened to the fact that she told the inspector that she was running a transition home when first confronted. What happened to our rights? There is a school right across the street. I wonder what Bishop O'Dowd would think of these saints living here?
  • Tubman Drive Oakland, CA 94603, United States of America - Elmhurst Park
FIRE HAZARD!!! Dry grass can be seen above fence. I walked over to take picture and dry grass is taller than me. Over 5 feet tall! Please have them cut down grass. Field right across street from homes. Less than 20 feet...
  • Delmont Avenue Oakland, CA - Millsmont
For months, the vacant lots at top of Delmont Ave. (near Mokelumne) presents a fire hazard, as well as an eyesore, with overgrown weeds as well as trash dumping. The "sidewalk" has become unwalkable. The earth is sliding and is accumulating at the bottom of the hill and presenting a hazard on Buena Ventura also.
  • 65th Avenue Between Outlook And Macarthur Blvd. Oakland, CA - Millsmont
Families live on 65th Avenue. We are in a school zone. People come from the top of the Hill on Outlook and race down the hill at speeds over 50 miles per hour. Our children play in this area. WE ARE IN A SCHOOL ZONE!! We desperately need at least one SPEED BUMP on this street. Please. Save our children before something really bad happens and the City of Oakland is sued for negligence of a known issue.
  • Illegal Dumping Acknowledged
    6601 Oakland, California - Webster
A white truck (Toyota type) dumped a bunch of junk on the one lane stretch of Dover St. between Tremont St. and Dover St. They purposely sped up and slowed down until all the junk fell off the back of the truck then skidded off toward Adeline. I phoned to police about this a couple of hours ago and they have not sent anyone to clean it up. The street is fully blocked with both junked chairs and other items as well as various cans of paint and discarded building materials etc.
