Sidewalk caved in after water main break on 3/13/2011. Hazardville Water Company and Slanetz Construction repaired pipe and road, but left sidewalk unfixed. It has sunk more and more and now holds water. It is located between 33 & 41 Abbe Rd.

This home has two unused/unregistered cars in the fenced yard covered in tarps, one red and one yellow. There is also a blue tuck that has a smashed in front end and a bed full of trash that is unused and has been sitting there for months. Can anything be done about this eyesore in our neighborhood?

A yard waste [Brown] barrel is always kept on the street 24-7 in front of 4 Longview Road.
Can something be done to correct this situation?
This now represents a safety hazard because a few residents have complained about near misses to their vehicles from other vehicles crowding towards the center of the road to avoid it.
  • 52-56 South Rd Enfield, CT, 06082, USA - polytest
52 South Road has a failed water well. There is a rain water catching system on the back being used for household water purposes. Additionally the rear of the property has not been mowed in several years and is over 18 inches tall and needs mowing. This is a bank owned property and there is a live eviction going on as well.

Following a tractor trailer traveling west bound today on North Street (North Maple Street to Elm Street) there is a large tree branch as you approach Misty Meadow which when the tractor trailer went under brought up a concern that I noticed. The height of the trailer verses the height of the branch.
There was not that much space between the top of the trailer and the tree branch that was hanging over the street.
The branch may need to be trimmed back to allow safer flow for tractor trailers and large truck traffic that use this road.
Could someone please check this out?

There is a barn which does not conform to the height regulations for this zone. Recently, there has been a lot of work going on at the barn including a new addition, new framing and a new roof. The building is now much larger than it was previously and feels out of place in the area. Also, they are parking cars in it and there building is not to code for that use. Please investigate.

The people who live at this address are running a commercial business out of this address. they park large commercial out of state vehicles here everyday that are lot and disruptive to the town. These commercial vehicles need to be parked at a business and not a residence. I don't pay $4500 a year in taxes to deal with this in a neighborhood. I have two children and one almost got hit shoveling snow because they drive very fast in these bigger vehicles.Sometimes there is three large trucks and they pardon the street as well making it difficult to navigate sometimes.
