Rampant left turns onto southbound Fulton Acknowledged2267-2299 Fulton Street Berkeley, California - BerkeleyPeople turn left regularly from westbound (downhill) Bancroft onto southbound Fulton, which, as a cyclist, has made for some very close calls when trying to continue westbound on Bancroft from the cycletrack. There are some No Left Turn signs, but they are perhaps not obvious enough. Paint on the road surface or add more signage before an accident occurs!

Street Sign ArchivedHearst Ave At Oxford St Berkeley, California - BerkeleyFor Public Works Transportation Division:
The Hearst Ave reconfiguration / lane deduction has improved traffic flow at Hearst at Oxford intersection. However, there is still a 'No Turn on Red' prohibition sign for Eastbound Hearst turning right onto Oxford Street. There seems to be ample visibility for cross traffic and oncoming traffic that the turn prohibition is no longer needed. Can Public Works consider removing this sign and allowing right turns on red? -
Street Light ArchivedLawrence Hall Of Science - BerkeleyRoad light on Centennial above Berkeley Labs Grizzly Gate is out, this is very dangerous for being able to see cyclists coming down Centennial.

Street Sign ArchivedHearst At Spruce Berkeley, California - BerkeleyAfter the street reconfiguration Public Works installed a no left turn sign for traffic heading Eastbound on Hearst Ave and vehicle traffic is no longer allowed to turn left onto Spruce Street. However, many drivers ignore the sign and will drive over the double yellow lines into opposing traffic to turn left. Bollards / delineators may be needed in the median to discourage this illegal / dangerous maneuver.

Intersection Lane Striping ArchivedTelegraph At Bancroft Berkeley, California - Berkeley
Telegraph Ave headed Northbound at the intersection with Bancroft Way currently has two traffic lanes turning left onto a one-way street (Bancroft). However, Bancroft Way is technically only two lanes with the 3rd, far right lane being a 'bus only' lane. Lane striping and signage showing turn movements should be installed / painted in the middle of the intersection to indicate the proper lane cars need to turn into.
Too often cars on Telegraph Ave in the far left lane will turn into the middle lane of Bancroft Way and force vehicles in the right lane of Telegraph Ave to turn into the 'bus only' lane of Bancroft.

Missing Pavement Markings ArchivedUniversity At Oxford Berkeley, California - Berkeley
Eastbound University Ave approaching the intersection with Oxford Street seems to be missing pavement arrows for the right turn only lane. There are lane markings showing which lane to use to turn left or go straight but nothing showing the right turn lane.
Some drivers just turn right using the middle lane which should be for straight / left turns only and cut-off cars in the right turn lane which is unmarked.

Soda Hall Berkeley, California - Berkeley
There is a new radar feedback speed sign on Hearst Ave (headed Westbound from Le Roy to Euclid Ave). The white speed limit sign above it says 35mph but immediately one block over past Euclid Ave there is another sign showing the speed limit dropping to 25mph.
I'm guessing the wrong speed limit sign is posted since Hearst Ave was previously 25mph.
