    There is small drainage grate that runs parallel to the road. A guy on a bike got his wheel caught in it. He went right over the handlebars headfirst onto the road. It's amazing he was able to walk away.

    The signal at this intersection used to give a walk signal to pedestrians on demand only. Now it gives a pedestrian walk signal (north or south on Hearst Avenue) when no pedestrians are present, thereby holding up traffic.

    Not sure if this is caused by the construction going on Berkeley Way but street light poles on Oxford Street pole #s OX1921, OX1941, OX1951, OX1971, OX1920, OX1950, etc are all out on two blocks (Oxford Street between University Ave and Hearst Ave). Not a single street light on this stretch is working.
