Notified About

  • 428 Lafayette St New York, NY 10003 - Greenwich Village
Every morning, FedEx trucks park in the bike lane and sort packages. This morning there were 5 trucks parked in the bike lane. This causes danger to cyclists who have to veer into traffic on this major bike route.
  • First Ave. And Saint Marks St. New York, NY - East Village
@kenstanek received a ticket for not riding in the 1st Ave Bike Lane. These tickets have never held up in court and are part of a citywide crackdown on cycling in NYC. Police told Mr. Stanek they are specifically targeting bicycles.
  • 229 E 2nd St New York, NY - East Village
It is not safe to walk to & from my apt from the subway - due to not enough lighting on the street. I almost got mugged, but luckily ran towards the duane reade on ave B.
  • Pot Hole Archived
101 E 14 St New York, NY - Union Square
Deep Hole and someone fell in and broke foot.
  • 28th And Madison new york , NY - Gramercy
Two manholes are loose on 28th street, right before the intersection at Madison, in front of the stoplights. Every time a vehicle drive over the manholes, which is all the time, nonstop, 24/7, there is an terribly loud clanging noise, akin to construction. Have not slept in weeks and am slowly losing my mind from the noise, to the point where am about to buy an orange cone and place it on the manholes so that vehicles have to drive around it. The noise is so loud and painful that I have lost sleep and productive hours at work.
  • 20th St Loop Manhattan, NY 10009, USA - Gramercy

Near the western exit to our 20th St. Loop here in Stuyvesant Town, an ongoing eyesore & nuisance has been LOADS of garbage (big, black garbage bags mostly, but also misc. crap, misfit garbage, papers, furniture, & as you can see from the photo, MATTRESSES) just left out on the curb 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I'm getting really disgusted with it.

No other 'loop' here in Stuytown has this problem. Only ours. For some reason, the maintenance guys for our loop are able to get away with this, & I am truly TIRED if seeing this garbage in display ALL THE TIME.

  • 41 Astor Place New York, NY 10003, USA - Greenwich Village
Every time it rains, the sidewalk in front of Starbucks, to the left of the news stand kiosk and right in front of the downtown 6 station floods. That area has high foot traffic and is difficult to navigate around the flood without dangerously stepping into the road.
  • Park Ave South & 17th New York, NY - Union Square
Restaurant exhaust is positioned directly into office buildings on Park Ave South. Cannot open windows. Exhaust coming from Bread & Butter restaurant.
  • 740-744 Broadway New York, NY 10003, USA - Greenwich Village
This hole could swallow a small child! Or at least the wheel of an unfortunate cyclist. This is an accident waiting to happen, please vote to fix.
  • 96-118 4th Ave New York, NY 10003, USA - Greenwich Village
Every single morning the post office parks trucks in the crosswalk at the corner and obscures the walk/don't walk signal, and blocks the crosswalk making it dangerous to cross the street right across from a school.
  • 307-333 E 4th St New York, NY 10009, USA - East Village
This school constantly puts out garbage on Saturdays that is left out all weekend without pickup, does not properly package waste (resulting in broken fluorescent light bulbs and computers (among other things) strewn across the sidewalk. This attracts copious amounts of cockroaches and rats, and has permanently marred the sidewalk with a layer of trash remnants which is never cleaned.
  • 915 Broadway new york, ny - Gramercy
the walk/don't walk light is broken on the southwest corner of the 21st and broadway intersection
