Notified About

  • 35 Lake Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham

If you live in this area, please see attached photo. The prices are what you were assessed per square foot of land on your property in 2018. In 2018 you were taxed approximately $16.38 per $1000 you were assessed. As for land, If you live in this area, you could have been overassessed, underassessed, or taxed for correct land value. Are you waterfront? Are you inland? Are you by the abandoned rail yard? Are you on hollis?

Those who are in the Orange Numbers, are OVERASSESSED and you could be paying taxes on an additional $10,000-$60,000. At an overassessment of $10,000, you are paying $168 to the city, which you shouldn't owe. If you are a Green Number, you are UNDERASSESSED, you are getting a swell deal from the city and are not paying your fair share of taxes.

Are you orange, and your neighbor green? Is your land type the same? shaded? flat? This is a disparity. You need to address this with the city. Is it fair that one waterfront home is in the green, and your inland plot is yellow?

Take it up with the Head Assessor- Tell him you don't want to be overassessed! William G. Naser wgn@framinghamma.gov

  • 1-47 Singletary Lane Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
The intersection of Singletary Lane and Salem End Road is dangerous as there is a telephone pole located within 1' of the roadway(on Salem End Road) and a reduced line of sight for vehicles leaving Singletary Lane. There have been dozens of accidents and quite a few "near misses" of cars trying to travel through this area. The stone wall needs to be removed and reconfigured to meet the Framingham's Zoning By-Laws published October 2013 Section K.8.g. - Intersection Sight Distance Restrictions. It appears to be the residence located at 374 Salem End Road that is responsible but the stone wall is located within the Town of Framingham's right of way and should be in charge of enforcing removal of the stone wall.

  • 187 Summer Street Framingham, MA 01701, USA - Framingham
One of the worst aspects of Framingham is the north side is not safe to walk. Why hasn't the town installed side walks on ALL streets with double yellow lines? Simplest thing as walking your dog becomes a hazard. Double yellow streets should in my opinion all have side walks on BOTH SIDES not only one that sometimes will just end.

480 Waverly St Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
I use the commuter train to get to work every day. I park my car at Saint Tarcisius Church and walk down Waverly to the Framingham train station. Today I was unable to use the cross walk (across 480 Waverly Street parking lot) due to the massive snow pile. The snow removers are essentially blocking pedestrians access to the sidewalks from the street, but we are also not able to cross the busy Waverly Street safely. I had to jump a massive amount of snow into incoming traffic, almost getting hit by a car, and then walk back down Waverly Street to get access to the train station.

drainage from the house is directed at the trail behind the house which is city of Framingham property. The trail is being washed away by the drainage from the house.

This sign still says Even side parking is permitted. This contradicts information on Parking Management Program page (http://www.framinghamma.gov/1313/Parking-Management-Program) which also indicates other notification mechanisms (including phone). In past years I have seen temporary large signs and gotten phone calls regarding the new years side switch. This year I have seen/heard nothing about it. Has the policy changed?

I use the commuter rail almost every day through the PayByPhone app. The app allows you to park at the lot for "A maximum of 14 days, all day". So when I went on a trip for a few days, I prepaid on the app and figured I'd be okay. Nope. My car got towed and I had to pay Henry's Towing $215 to get it back. There is no sign at the station saying you cant park there overnight. It tells you to use the app, and I listened to what the app told me was okay. This is very unfair and misleading to the citizens of Framingham, and I should NOT have to have this be a $200+ lesson.

The chipotle in Framingham near the Natick mall is the most disgusting place I have ever seen. The floors are covered in trash and not a single table was clean. The kitchen is even worse.
