Napagbigyang-alam Tungkol

  • 51 Flanagan Drive Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
please fix damage from framingham snowplow to ashault curb in front of house
  • 7 Thru 25 Elm Street - Framingham

Recently the parking ban for the odd side of the street was enforced on the residents of Chestnut and Elm Streets. Many of us were given tickets for parking in front of our homes (very few of us have driveways) with out any warning, prior notification or a chance to simply move our cars to the even side of the streets.

    Yet!

Yet school teachers, parents, church goers, business owners and business customers are CONSTANTLY parking on the odd side of Elm Street EVERY SINGLE DAY, all throughout the day.

It seems ridiculously unfair to give the residents of Chestnut and Edwards Streets parking tickets for parking on the odd side of the street when Elm Street has vehicles allowed to CONSTANTLY parked on the odd side of its street (in front of the Mary E Stapleton Elementary school – 25 Elm Street, the Boston Taiwanese Church – 15 Elm Street, the creepy daycare, and the Chimney Sweep Shop – 7 Elm Street) BLOCKING the view of oncoming traffic from drivers attempting to leave Chestnut Street.

When I myself am trying to turn left or right out of Chestnut Street – onto Elm Street, it is sometimes IMPOSSIBLE to see ANY oncoming traffic from the left or the right because of cars parked on the odd side of Elm Street. Making a left or right turn onto Elm Street is often an extremely dangerous risk. So dangerous in fact, this past January a woman speeding through the Concord/Elm Street light, speeding into the elementary school zone, speeding well over 35 mph in a 20 mph zone, hit my car as I was turning onto Elm Street.

Perhaps the town of Framingham could better serve its residents by monitoring the parking habits of drivers on busy dangerous streets, and not punish residents who are forced to park on the street due to the cramped layout of houses with no driveways.

  • 8 Ford Lane Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
I have seen on several occasions that the owner of a dog who lives (they both live) at 10 Ford Lane in Framingham, takes out his dog on leash at around 8 am and let's the dog pee on his own property and then leads the dog over to the back piece of 14 hickey drive to direct the dog to poop there, and then does not ever clean up the poop. 10 Ford lane abutts a wetland, and this is polluting. The owner should be cleaning up after the dog. You can see the poops right around a tree stump at the back of the 14 hickey drive property. If necessary, I can upload an image.

illegal curbside parking by Boston commuter near Framingham train station
  • Framingham Massachusetts - Framingham

So learning about a rape that took place in Framingham 5 days ago. What is the town going to do to keep it safe? I never see police driving slow around the streets. Just going fast and doing detailed work.

As far as the town goes..when is it going to be a nice town where someone can walk down town and feel safe? This town needs to step up and and people need to keep it clean..

  • 1099-1103 Edgell Road Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
Speeding on Edgell Rd from Nobscot to the Sudbury line is out of control. Not only are cars doing 50mph on Edgell Rd, the trucks are passing through here think its another Rte 9. All the trash trucks going to the transfer station in Marlboro and Hudson fly through here. Not excluding Framingham Town trucks who are some of the biggest offenders. Dump trucks and trailer dumps going back and for to Cavvechio's in Sudbury also including there trucks who get ridiculous in the summer months. Bengal trucking is also a big offender. Everyone knows that nothing is ever, or rarely done about speeding on Edgell Rd. The town and the police just don't care because it would be to much work. Beside, they are always to busy coddling downtown Framingham. Cruises are always sitting,(sleeping?) in Nobscot Plaza or; the bank or the empty bank when they could at least sit on Gibson or apple dor to slow people down. But again, that would be to much work and take away from there down time.
  • Edgell Rd And Central Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
This busy intersection (Edgell rd and Central St) is in desperate need of a traffic signal. Many accidents have happened there. I work for a collision center 10 miles away yet still get customers from this terrible intersection. Please Framingham, this has long been needed
  • Dudley Rd. Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
I have been using Cushing Memorial Park to walk my dogs on leash because it is a great space where they can walk safely on leash. However, since the nicer weather, I have encountered many dog owners who refuse to leash their dogs. When informed of the leash laws or requested to leash their dogs, many of them refuse to do so. There is a noticeable lack of enforcement of the leash laws at this park. I would expect the town of Framingham to be more concerned about this due to the huge liability of having unleashed dogs in a public space. There is a gorgeous, brand new and hugely popular children's playground where there could be a dangerous altercation. Dogs should be on leash for not just their own safety but for the safety of other dogs, children, adults and even the seniors who walk at and live next to Cushing. Please provide a visible presence at this park of officials who can at the very least inform and insist people leash their dogs or even issue citations to assert the seriousness of the issue.
  • Waushakum Blvd Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
There is a patch of street between the drive way of 20 Waushakum Bld. and 22 Waushakum Blvd. which is approximately 8 ft long and 4 ft wide is much lower than the level of the street. This results a permanent water puddle during the rains. It freezes up during the winter time which can be quite hazardous. The closest drain is at a higher level than this patch of land. The water does not seep into the ground because this low area is paved part of the street.
You are requested to raise the this part of the street to a normal level. The patching will probably not need more than 4 inches of patching of asphalt.
    Thanking you

  • 120 Woodland Dr Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham

At the service plaza on the Westbound side of the Mass Pike, in between exits 12 and 13, there is a yellow gate in the back. This is presumably used by authorized personnel only.

However, recently I have noticed a substantial uptick in cars simply "cutting through" this area to avoid traffic and/or avoid paying a toll. This has resulted in increased traffic in the Woodland Rd/Audrea Rd/Florita Rd neighborhood. Often times this is late at night and neighbors of this quiet area aren't happy with the uptick in unauthorized use of that cut through.

Who's jurisdiction is this, can the gate be closed and locked aside from official use, and what can be done to enforce this? Thank you!

  • 2-80 Howard Street Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
Is there any way that there can regularly be an officer in Framingham Common/Framingham train station in the mornings during peak commuting times? As a female, I don't feel completely comfortable in these areas on my way to work in the morning. People staying in the park occasionally scream things as I am walking and often there are intoxicated people sitting in the train station. I have seen officers in the area, but if this is something that could be done daily, I believe that many would benefit from this. Thank you.
