  • 120 Woodland Dr Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham

At the service plaza on the Westbound side of the Mass Pike, in between exits 12 and 13, there is a yellow gate in the back. This is presumably used by authorized personnel only.

However, recently I have noticed a substantial uptick in cars simply "cutting through" this area to avoid traffic and/or avoid paying a toll. This has resulted in increased traffic in the Woodland Rd/Audrea Rd/Florita Rd neighborhood. Often times this is late at night and neighbors of this quiet area aren't happy with the uptick in unauthorized use of that cut through.

Who's jurisdiction is this, can the gate be closed and locked aside from official use, and what can be done to enforce this? Thank you!

  • Sloane Drive Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham

Hello - there has been a great deal of interest expressed by the Sloane Dr population of getting natural gas installed on our street. Through extensive research and communication with Eversource, we've learned there is a natural gas hook up on the intersection of Arbetter and Sloane. As a community we are asking for assistance from the town of Framingham to extend the gas line to the remaining homes on Sloane. It would be greatly appreciated if someone can contact me for further discussions. I can be reached by phone or email at 508-808-3015 or nicholas.mancini15@gmail.com

As always, thank you in advance for your time.

  • Dudley Rd. Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
I have been using Cushing Memorial Park to walk my dogs on leash because it is a great space where they can walk safely on leash. However, since the nicer weather, I have encountered many dog owners who refuse to leash their dogs. When informed of the leash laws or requested to leash their dogs, many of them refuse to do so. There is a noticeable lack of enforcement of the leash laws at this park. I would expect the town of Framingham to be more concerned about this due to the huge liability of having unleashed dogs in a public space. There is a gorgeous, brand new and hugely popular children's playground where there could be a dangerous altercation. Dogs should be on leash for not just their own safety but for the safety of other dogs, children, adults and even the seniors who walk at and live next to Cushing. Please provide a visible presence at this park of officials who can at the very least inform and insist people leash their dogs or even issue citations to assert the seriousness of the issue.
  • 1099-1103 Edgell Road Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
Speeding on Edgell Rd from Nobscot to the Sudbury line is out of control. Not only are cars doing 50mph on Edgell Rd, the trucks are passing through here think its another Rte 9. All the trash trucks going to the transfer station in Marlboro and Hudson fly through here. Not excluding Framingham Town trucks who are some of the biggest offenders. Dump trucks and trailer dumps going back and for to Cavvechio's in Sudbury also including there trucks who get ridiculous in the summer months. Bengal trucking is also a big offender. Everyone knows that nothing is ever, or rarely done about speeding on Edgell Rd. The town and the police just don't care because it would be to much work. Beside, they are always to busy coddling downtown Framingham. Cruises are always sitting,(sleeping?) in Nobscot Plaza or; the bank or the empty bank when they could at least sit on Gibson or apple dor to slow people down. But again, that would be to much work and take away from there down time.

I'm not sure if this is the right forum but I have some comments and a question. Does Framingham have a noise ordinance or rules around noise levels as different times of day? As soon as the nice weather comes and we are all more inclined to be outside, my neighbors are blaring their music. They have it on, blasting outside even when they are inside. They have it on until 1,2, 3 in the morning and are prone to shouting and fighting with eachother. I have called the police in the past, last Summer, but it didn't help...not even within the same evening. This year I bought noise cancelling headphones and am trying to be zen about it until this morning I was woken up at 4am by a man yelling. This won't be tolerable for any of my neighbors if this is the trend this Summer. I just want to understand what level of nosie and at what time is within their right and what is not? I searched and I do not see a noise ordinance for Framingham - if that is the case, what is the best course of action to request one with the town?

What is it going to take to have these signals mentioned above to take them down. It causes more of a traffic havoc and the City of Framingham does not care
  • Juniper Lane Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham

Hi, I would like to know why the trash is not getting picked up at Juniper lane, Framingham after a holiday or a snow emergency after we have pushed back by one? Today is the second time this happened, the recycling was picked up, but the trash was not.

    Thank you

  • 454 Water Street Framingham, MA - Framingham
I was terminated from my employment at the Framingham Public Schools after an investigation that I created a hostile environment with a teacher by raising a topic that was not considered appropriate during a lunch break in which no students were present. I believe it is my right as a former employee to have a copy of the Human Resources investigation report. Emailing requests to those individuals who would expedite delivery of the investigation report to me, I have not received a promising response, suggesting possible retaliation for asserting my right (i.e. I was told my request would be forwarded to the Chief Human Resources Officer by the Staffing Manager, the Chief has not responded at all to my email messages); I suspect the Human Resources Department is secretly censoring the investigation report to conceal potential discrimination violations. I politely request a copy of the investigation report from the Human Resources Department of the Public Schools, which I believe it is my right to have. Please correct me if a public institution reserves the right to secretly censor a report regarding their decision to terminate me. It is my opinion that adequate training would have better informed me of what was expected of me; I was only offered Conflict of Interest training and a digital Handbook, which was quite minimal for the expectations I was held to as a substitute, namely that of a teacher.
  • 19 Rons Way Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
Residents at 19 Ron's Way, Framingham, burn wood in their backyard for many hours per night most weekends. The smoke from these fires permeates the surrounding neighborhood and infiltrates other homes. My family members with asthma and allergies are severely affected by this, and we are no longer able to keep our windows open on warm weekend nights (and we have no air conditioning!). According to the Massachusetts Open Burning Law (310 CMR 7.07), "open burning, including fire pits, must be done without causing a nuisance."
