Trash strewn across floor of Five Guys in Framingham. When staff was asked why, they said it was a messy job. Did not clean up. Continued to throw trash on ground. Food on floor.

There has been almost continuous noise from cars accelerating and excessive speed around Butterworth Park all evening. How does Framingham enforce speed limits? Does the town have any noise ordinances? Sounds and feels like I live on a dragway.

There is a black pickup truck that I have the pleasure of listening to every day, particularly in the 330-4am range, that has extremely loud exhaust. As a car guy, I am almost certain this is deliberate vs a muffler issue. The truck has 2 oversized exhaust pipes and I can hear it 2 streets over at my residence. This needs to be addressed asap. We all know the history of this house which is why we as neighbors tread lightly, but it does not mean we have to sit back and accept such blatant disregard for those that live in the area. This entire neighborhood has turned into their personal race track, dog breeding/selling operation and countless other issues, but the truck is the worst. We can't escape it since it can be heard in space. Please, please address this for us...signed, sleepless in Framingham

The Framingham High School parking lots were unacceptably dangerous this morning and most mornings when precipitation occurs (or occurred the night before). We need plowing and/or salting to occur before school starts. People are falling and it is frightening. I am concerned about getting hurt or others getting hurt. This is no way to run a school. The salting truck came at 8:20 AM which approximately two hours too late. If this were a company, none of this would be an issue.
  • 842 Old Connecticut Path Framingham, MA, 01701, USA - Framingham

There are several cracks the road in front of the house at 842 Old Connecticut Path in Framingham. The traffic includes heavy vehicles such as trucks and it shakes the house considerably (magnitude that can detach and make a photo frame or whiteboard fall off from a wall) when they pass over these cracks.

Also, the speed of the traffic is usually more than the allowed speed limit on this road, there was a digital speed reader/shower installed here few months ago but removed later.

I believe repairing the cracks and regulating the traffic speed will greatly reduce the house shaking and ensure longevity of the structure. Please help with this issue.

On Tuesday morning, the Framingham City Recycling truck pulled down a wire above our driveway when lifting the bin. The wire is so low that it scrapes our car rack (see picture). It is a hazard that should be removed or repaired. It appears that, in the past, the City has attempted to use zip ties to secure the wires; this solution is clearly not working anymore. It is unclear if these wires are actually in use anymore? In any case, since I wasn't the one to pull the wire down, I do not believe it is my responsibility to repair/remove it. Please send city workers to repair or remove the wire.

Shouldn't they be following the same rules as the rest of the town of Framingham?

I am a student of Framingham State and I regularly eat at the dining hall. Today, October 30, 2017, I saw a mouse in the main dining hall area where students eat their meals. I spoke to a friend, and he saw a mouse a couple days ago as well. I am paying a school thousands of dollars to attend; the least I can ask for is a sanitary eating environment.

I’m curious if plowing is still not completed? Our street (Lawrence Street) is nearly impossible to drive down. Most of the sedans bounce down the street becauae of the uneven snow mounds down the entire street. I’m hoping the job is not done yet. In all the 34 years I’ve lived in Framingham I’ve never seen a street like this and it’s concerning to me. I will call tomorrow. Please help our neighborhood.

First, this is not a “problem” merely an inquiry for the next snowstorm. Historically, when the cul de sac we live on has been plowed, the snow is pushed into the easement that we share with our neighbors. We keep this area clear to make it easy and mark the curb so the drivers can see the mark to lift the blades and push the snow up over the curb. This first storm, the snow was not pushed up but gathered at the edge of the road. It’s probably fine for this time because it was a small storm. When it melts, it makes the cul de sac an ice rink but that sometimes can’t be helped. My concern is that I watched the drivers plowing and it seemed they were avoiding the edges (it was quite thorough in the middle). If we have a large storm and the snow is not pushed over the edge it will cause a great deal of ice and flooding for our driveways and the road. I know this because last year my father did not move his truck from the street and so the snow was piled up. It was there for months and made drainage impossible. Since this was his fault, we did not complain. Hopefully this makes sense and doesn’t come across as too nit-picky. We appreciate how diligent Framingham is with plowing, especially on a street as small as ours. Thank you for your consideration.
