Notified About

  • Worcester Road At Caldor Drive Framingham, MA - Framingham
My wife and I have enjoyed living our first six months in Framingham. We live in Oaks Road, and use Route 9 every weekday to get our baby girl to daycare. We have been noticing since the last three weeks that timing of the traffic signals at the route 9/Caldor Drive (Walmart) intersection are off. It seems the green double turn arrow was lengthened. But this extra time has shortened the duration of the green light for the route 9 eastbound direction. this is causing significant backups all the way to Oaks Road on the weekday morning hours. Can this be corrected to timing that was used during March and April, as it seemed to work better. Thank you for your consideration. Chris and Lindsay Valarezo, 58 Oaks Road.
  • Caldor Road Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
On Saturday the 20th of May 2017 around 9:30PM; I was leaving Wal-Mart Parking lot turning to the left toward Road 9; my car fell into "Deep Pit hole" that damaged my tire. I called 911 to alert the town the immediate need to repair the road to avoid further accidents.
Please contact me to let me know how do I recover my loss due to the lack of "Warning Sign" in Public road.

  • 1-47 Singletary Lane Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
The intersection of Singletary Lane and Salem End Road is dangerous as there is a telephone pole located within 1' of the roadway(on Salem End Road) and a reduced line of sight for vehicles leaving Singletary Lane. There have been dozens of accidents and quite a few "near misses" of cars trying to travel through this area. The stone wall needs to be removed and reconfigured to meet the Framingham's Zoning By-Laws published October 2013 Section K.8.g. - Intersection Sight Distance Restrictions. It appears to be the residence located at 374 Salem End Road that is responsible but the stone wall is located within the Town of Framingham's right of way and should be in charge of enforcing removal of the stone wall.
  • Auburn Street Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
Could you please consider installing speed tables on Auburn Street? Like the ones installed on Edmunds Road.
Because many people use this street as a short cut to avoid Framingham Center traffic, cars speed down this road and very fast with no regard for their surroundings.... It's unsafe for the families/kids in and out of Victory soccer field and for the many pedestrians walking up and down the street.
  • 45 Frost St Framingham, MA, 01701, USA - Framingham

    Good afternoon,

For the last 12 years living in this home I have been saying that I was going to reach out to The Framingham Police Traffic Dept. and never have. It has gotten the point where it is not an option anymore. We have 2 young boys and there are many more young children on Frost Street.

The reason for my message is that our street is a cut through from Edgell Road to Brook Street. 75% for the people driving on Frost Street do so at very high speeds. I've caught myself waving at them to slow down, yelling occasionally, etc... It is a very serious problem. My wife and I do not let our children play in the front yard because of this.

Here is my request. Would it be possible to add a speed sign somewhere in the middle of Frost that tells the drivers how fast they are going. I know those are very effective in slowing people down. I'm unaware of the process for something like this and would be happy to assist with whatever is needed.

This is very important to us and many other families in the neighborhood. Please let me know what I can do. (Or you can do)

  • 44 Johnson St Framingham, MA, 01701, USA - Framingham
At 8:57am a man walking a dog came onto my property where I rent, he was looking through the windows of the cars in our driveway, then he walked into the back yard and stayed there for a couple minutes before returning to the front yard and leaving. I’ve seen him walking his dog down Johnson Street more than a few times, but this is the first time I’ve seen him do something like this. I’m unsure if he lives on my street or if he’s just passing through every time I see him. There is a cut through from the back of Framingham Highechool to my road. He has a very short buzz cut and was wearing glasses. His dog looks like it could be a lab mix, it’s either black or dark brown and is smaller than a Labrador.
  • 589 Union Ave Framingham, MA, 01702, USA - Framingham
Why are the Adesso (south Framingham/Sherborn line) car carrier trucks travelling on Union Avenue from 6 AM through 10 PM on Union Avenue, a residential street? These trucks should be on Route 126 only, not on a residential street.
