809 Edmund Street Raleigh, North Carolina - East RaleighNew construction has recently turned this two-way intersection into a four-way intersection. No stop signs have been put up on any of the four corners. Construction vehicles (cement trucks, dump trucks, tractors, etc) drive through the new intersection without regards to any oncoming traffic. I live near this intersection and have almost been hit multiple times while trying to leave my neighborhood. This is a serious safety issue. There needs to be stop signs at this intersection asap, preferably a four-way stop!

In issue 438737, the noise ordinance was cited. The excessive noise of the motorcycles falls under:
The use of any automobile, motorcycle or other vehicle so out of repair, so loaded or in such manner as to create loud or unnecessary grating, grinding, rattling or other noise.
The discharge into the open air of the exhaust of any stationary internal combustion engine or motor vehicle, except through a muffler or other device which will effectively prevent loud or explosive noises therefrom.
I would like to request that RPD start enforcing the noise ordinance by ticketing these offenders of the noise ordinance.

401 Chapanoke Road Raleigh, North Carolina - SouthwestIt would be nice if the City would consider the residential neighbors prior to continued issuance of special event permits at the International Foods shopping center on Chapanoke. The noise and music from the current festival is currently audible (Sunday at 9:15 PM) several blocks from the center, even with doors and windows closed. It would be difficult to complain had we (700+ residents) purchased homes next to an arena or amphitheater but no one could have anticipated this would be an ongoing issue when purchasing near a retail center. The permitting staff should be required to work nights and weekends in the areas adjacent to events they approve so they can hear the repercussions of their approvals. Better yet, maybe they should offer to have them held in their neighborhoods.
Rowan St And Six Forks Raleigh, NC - Six Forks CorridorA left turn light is needed when turning onto Six Forks from Rowan Street by St. Timothy's School. This is especially needed during school arrival and dismissal. The cars turing left onto Six Forks from St. Timothy's School and the cars turning left onto Six Forks from Carroll Middle School have trouble safely turning. Please fix this before there is a severe accident and a child from one of the schools is hurt.
801 W Morgan St Raleigh, North Carolina - HillsboroughI witnessed a horrifying wreck this afternoon at Snow and West Morgan St. Driver that was hit mentioned he couldn't see because of a car parked on West Morgan in what the sign says "NO PARKING, Loading zone" The RPD says this doesn't apply on weekends so cars can legally park there. THAT IS NUTS!!!!! People have been trying to get this changed from a parking area to a no parking area to make this intersection safer. The City did and changed the sign to no parking, loading zone only. However, we have no come to find out that this only applies M-F during regular business hours! The RPD officer stated his agreement that cars parked here block the line of sight but the zone would have to be changed for tickets to be issued. CAN WE PLEASE FOR THE SAKE OF SAFETY change this 15 foot section to loading only/24 hours per day so people can not park here all weekend and night, blocking the intersection??? I think we all were satisfied with the change to a loading zone before because we thought this area would literally just be a loading zone; apparently Raleigh code allows people to park in loading zones after hours and on weekends, To those involved in the serious accident at Snow and West Morgan this afternoon, I am sure that does either of them any good. PLEASE.... LET'S MAKE THIS INTERSECTION SAFE!!!!
Royal Dornaoch Drive Raleigh, NC - Raleigh Council District C
Hedingham subdivision is full of no parking signs that have been errected by the HOA. The sreets in Hedingham (with the exception of a couple of townhome portions are property of the city, they are not private streets. Therefore any no parking signs errected by the HOA in the public right of way (which all of the signs are) are in violation of by the city's sign ordinance. Streets that have these illegal no parking signs are Royal Dornoch Drive, Royal Troon Drive, Royal Adelaide Way, Oak Tree Way, Liverpool Lane, Ellsmere Lane, and several more. There are so many, it's difficult to name them all. These are not private streets and the HOA has no business trying to enforce parking restrictions on public property. Please have them remove all of the no parking signs that are on the public right of way (which is all of them).

425-451 Chapanoke Road Raleigh, NC 27603, USA - SouthwestTrash over flowing from dumpsters and garbage debris everywhere...AGAIN. Hispanic shops are cause, please report, fine, and fix.
800 N Blount St Raleigh, NC 27604, USA - Blount CorridorVehicles regularly ignore pedestrian crossing. Signage for cars and pedestrians needs to be more clear. Very dangerous for pedestrians with cars speeding around the corner and rarely breaking for pedestrians (who technically have the right of way).
827 West Morgan Street Raleigh, North Carolina - HillsboroughThere is an armada of recycling containers blocking the sidewalk at 827-825 West Morgan Street for four days now. Would the City of Raleigh please share with all of us when these are allowed to be out on the street side and where exactly they should be placed. They are currently in the middle of the sidewalk (for 4 days now). Is it legal? This business had a history of illegal trash collection and sidewalk blocking problems in the past, since they took over the laundry/dry cleaner, it seems they are taking over their illegal ways incognito. Thanks for letting us know if this is legal and exactly when and where they can put out their armada of trash/recycling receptacles.
