City of Malden - Ward 3

There is no visibility in the area around the rotary here, and it's causing back-ups down to Hawthorne street and off of Glenwood and down to Pine off of Highland, etc. if something could be done to lower the mounds and widen the roads at this critical intersection, it would be appreciated.

I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this, but would it be possible for the Malden Police to make enforce the speed limit on Glenwood St? One day, every other week, would help tremendously. The newly posted signs are great, but more should be done.

I was out of town the last 5 days, but on my walk along glenwood this morning, I noticed the remnants of a tree and some absorbant material around a nearby telephone pole. It seems that there was a wreck on 12/08/2015 at around 11am. Hopefully there weren't any pedestrians involved.

I'm not sure of the cause of the accident, however, it's clear that speed was a factor as trees don't typically come down easily.

This is a complete disregard for people’s safety their parking lots and walkways are clear of all snow for residents. Has there been anybody out or got in touch with management over this? Last time I checked they had until 4pm Tuesday to remove snow/ice. People have to cross the road at probably the most dangerous section for speeding and cutting the bends. How is this been addressed?

There's is a LOT of poison ivy all around Fellsmere Park.

Highland ave west of Fellsway E is constantly being treated like a freeway or a race track and people speed 45-50mph. Could there be a joint effort with Medford Police to reduce speeding before some gets killed? With the weather warming up motorcyclists are loudly joining the speeding crowd. Thanks.

We have been in the routine of not receiving mail certain days of the week. No one on my direct neighborhood received mail yesterday. Not the first time. We ate seeing a pattern now. Tried calling the post office and phone is off the hook. For two days now it rings busy all day. Same thing last week when we didn't receive mail. Its not because of the snow. Anybody else want to join in this matter. If they don't answer the phone and take it off the hook then this forum is our last resort.

The curbstone at 42 Fellsmere Road is sticking out and has damaged the residents tire. We confirmed with Engineering that the Water Pipe Replacement Program does not include this section of Fellsmere Road. It has been spay painted as a visual warning until it can be repaired.

Noticed at night time random vehicles would park on our driveway for a couple minutes? Not sure what to do about this? The last time we were able to catch the person parking on it but today we were unable to. Do we just call the non-emergency line to have them towed? Or can we do something because these cars keep trespassing on our property and we don't know who they are and don't know how safe it would be confront these people? Please advise.

Every morning while I am at the bus stop waiting for the bus, I notice that most of the cars travelling down Clifton Street are barely slowing down for the STOP sign (in both directions) making this a dangerous intersection for everyone, especially pedestrians. Either the intersection should be changed from a 4 way STOP to a just STOP signs on Dexter street, or a traffic light should be installed.

Cars are almost always parked on Woodland right at the corner of Glenwood, so close to Glenwood that it makes it unsafe turning onto both streets. This issue was raised at the mayor's safety meeting in March, and residents were told that the city us aware of parking issues at this intersection and that it would be addressed, but cars continue to park at these corners. Please enforce the parking rules and install signs "No Parking Here to Corner" so residents and visitors are aware of parking restrictions.
