Multiple neighbors concerned about fast moving traffic, speeding over top of Beltran and down hill. Particularly bad during 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM commuting hour. Especially hazardous to pedestrians and children. Photo taken on Beltran facing towards Glenwood: traffic speeds down Beltran, past Las Casas to Glenwood,
Some cars have been parking to far from curb on the lower end of Blomerth and are actually parked in middle of street! This will be a problem for emergency vehicles and plows later tonight and tomorrow when the next storm hits.
The entire stretch of East Border Road from the Fellsway to Blomerth Street is un-shoveled (except for the house on the corner of Blomerth and E. Border). This is the only walking route to Oak Grove for our whole neighborhood and walking in the street is extremely dangerous because it's a blind corner where cars travel fast down the hill.
These condos are disgraceful. They have no respect for anybody’s safety. It was the same with the last storm we had it took them 3 days to clear the sidewalk. They should receive a fine for every unit that’s in the building just like a single house would get a fine. Something needs to be done about this association. Does anybody know the address for the trustees/ owners? We should a call and complain about their lack of winter clean up.
The sidewalks around Fellsmere Pond are dangerous. Who is responsible for clearing these? As a home owner I get fined when my walks are not cleared- does the city or DCR have the same responsibility and liability for fines?
Car has eluded traffic enforcement and police have driven by this twice that I have seen. There is NO winter over night parking on Ivy Road. I believe there is also a law that cars must park 20? feet from an intersection. This car has been parked on the corner since the first blizzard "Juno". Calls to Malden Traffic dept have not been acknowledged. Car is impeding plows as well as making it difficult to go around the corner onto Rockland Ave.
This is a complete disregard for people’s safety their parking lots and walkways are clear of all snow for residents. Has there been anybody out or got in touch with management over this? Last time I checked they had until 4pm Tuesday to remove snow/ice. People have to cross the road at probably the most dangerous section for speeding and cutting the bends. How is this been addressed?
Most of the sidewalks on both sides of Dutton Street have not been cleared. This is the responsibility of the homeowners to complete and in my opinion, the city should issue violations to those who do not comply to this civic responsibility.
