At the intersection of Maple St and Ivy Rd the road is completely dug up leaving a giant drop in the road. At night this section of road is very dark and the only warning of this sudden drop is a homemade sign spray painted on plywood which is impossible to see in the dark. Which city official has failed to do their job And make sure the contractor has placed proper saftey signs, reflective orange, warning drivers of the sudden drop. It's about time the city officials who fail to do their jobs are terminated, this dangerous condition is absolutely unacceptable
There are about a dozen dead fish in this area. I am no expert, but there may be a problem with the water... Also, the asian community is well known for eating the fish from this pond, so this is technically a public health matter as well.
Recycling rules not followed by JRM-I just watched my recycling get picked up, and despite the fact that it was very carefully sorted according to the new rules, JRM dumped everything into one section of the truck! Why are residents required to sort if it all gets commingled in the truck?
At Fellsmere Pond on the Fellsmere Road side between the two benches there's a small bridge over what might be a brook. The water is covered with an oil slick and some very nasty looking stuff. It looks polluted and needs to be tested and taken care of.
What is going on with this? When this freezes it’s going to be a nightmare. The water is literally pouring out of this non-stop. From what I understand one cannot let the water directly drain into public sidewalks/roads. The side of the road is literally flooded because of this.
This water drains directly from the house all year into the street. This is not OK! Who has to fall and hurt themselves? Please address this immediately. This is right by the Beebe School and a lot of children walk here. I have seen this for years unaddressed.
How come the Fellsway E and Highland St traffic issue was archived without resolution? What was the outcome of the public hearings? I could not access archives. The issue still remains and the intersection is very dangerous for pedestrians and drivers. Any caution signs / speed meters would temporarily help the situation.
