The tenants living at 33 Holyoke Street are becoming incredibly difficult to live next to. They are constantly yelling and playing loud music in the afternoon well passed midnight at least three times a week. The police have been called a plethora of times on these residents and they never change their behavior. They are a nuisance to this neighborhood and this issue needs to be dealt with because the noise pollution is ridiculous.
From lower to higher Henry St, Cross St from past Ferry down to past Bryant, I have call everyday about a all black Dodge Charger. All day and night speeding all the streets and car is extremely loud. Also blares music. Sometimes a man, sometimes a woman. License plate is 8DZ469. The speed on the car is approximately 75 to 80 no exaggeration. They need to STOP these people. Someone or another car is going to be seriously hurt or killed! This is in need of immediate attention!!
My father passed away on Oct 7, 2019 a 34 year veteran and was buried in the veterans section. His headstone has not been placed at his grave, so I called the funeral home in mid April 2020. The funeral home informed me that they would check because it usually takes 6 months for his stone to come in and the cemetery doesn’t install them until spring which both passed. The response I received was they are busy and working on it. In early May 2020 I called Forestdale cemetery to inquire and was told they were so busy they didn’t even have time to cut the grass. I was then promised that they would put it up before Memorial Day. On Saturday 5/23 evening low and behold no grave stone. I highly doubt Sunday or on the actual holiday anyone will be working. Totally unacceptable for a veteran or any family who paid to lay their love one to rest!
Constant cars and people pulling up in front of 28 Holyoke St to buy drugs. Loud noise, loud music, late night drinking and screaming continues. What are we waiting for another drive by shooting. We need to call the Mayor and see if he would put up with living next to this ...
This property has been having constant foot traffic , 10-20 people come to this property on a daily basis and come for 5-10 mins, do hand to hand transactions to buy drugs and leave. Then turns into loud music, drinking and people talking loud at all hours of the night. 2 weeks ago there was a fight drug deal gone bad and a car shot up the street. Right now there’s a line of people waiting to buy drugs it’s ridiculous that we have to live next to this people. There’s litter and trash around the property just filthy. The first floor is over crowded with adults , teenagers and even little babies exposed to drugs, drinking and more.
There is a crosswalk to get across Centre street toward Holden, via the Malden High School, students and pedestrians push the cross walk button to cross and cross when the lights turn red, I have seen several people blow this light and nearly hit pedestrians at all hours of the day. Often times only one person will cross, but once that individual has crossed they blow the red light regardless. No police is ever present here, people have to aggressively cross in fear of being hit by a car.
Couldn't the sidewalk along route 60 be left clear for pedestrians? It's one thing for me to be forced into the road, but I hate to see the kids walking to school be put into an unsafe situation. Or at least have someone stationed to direct people around? I have to walk by this site every day now and I feel like it is getting steadily more difficult to do a commute to the train station.
I am beyond confused with the hydrant flushing going on now for weeks. Originally we were told it was an emergency and you did not have time to notify us. Then you schedule and notify us (thank you) two consecutive days, then the next week once and now instead of the weekend you are doing it again during the week. Now you advise us that there is no harm from the water that comes out brown (or sometimes doesn't come out at all) and you advise to flush until it runs clear. You make it sound like this is a two minute process. IT IS NOT. It takes my water a few hours to clear, which is a problem on a work morning! Also the first time you did it, my toilet broke and I had to hire a plumber to fix. Additionally I am running the water for hours each time. Can I receive credit on my water bill, can I be reimbursed for the repair. I was referred to your legal department for an answer to this question but did not receive a return call. Actually the most important question I have is that you are advising us that this is routine so the water will be clean and cold. I have lived here 20 years and I have never woken up to no water or no water and rusty water, so I am not so convinced this is a routine process. I don't ever remember in the 20 years it having been done. Can you PLEASE tell me what is the problem with the water because I am very concerned. Thank you. I am sure I am not the only one in Malden that wants to know what is going on. Thank you again.
oil is being allowed for years to washout into our streets. EPA rules require proper drainage with oil water separator for shops. why is this location still being allowed to pollute our neighborhood? old owner and now the new one.
