Cabezon Blvd And Western Hills Dr. Rio Rancho, NM - Rio Rancho
This intersection has always been a tricky place to cross from Western Hills across Cabezon Blvd. City has told local residents in the pass that a roundabout would be installed, that was 3 years ago. Something is definitely needed and soon.
Paso Del Norte At Eagle Ranch Albuquerque, NM 87114, USA - Eagle Ranch
Dirt is blowing again from the empty lot at Paso Del Norte and Eagle Ranch RD. This is a hazard for cars driving on Paso, Eagle Ranch and Paradise. This is also a breathing hazard and ruins the lawn in the Cactus Ridge neighborhood. We need a permanent fix not a patch every spring.
The rest of Unser is two lanes on both sides of the road. What is the point of going to one lane for 100 yards then back to two lanes as soon as Rio Rancho begins? This causes an excessive traffic build-up for no cause and people trying to get ahead of everyone who is already in the continuing lane then expecting everyone to let them in. This is dangerous and I have seen many people go into the dirt because the trash truck or semi trailer wouldn't drop everything and make a huge opening for them.
The intersection at Unser and Bandelier is extremely dangerous. If you are proceeding southbound on Unser and turning left on Bandelier, there is no left turn arrow at the signal and there is no visibility of oncoming traffic. The city needs either to put a left turn arrow at the signal at the intersection or raze all of the landscaping at the median. I have almost been in several accidents and wouldn't be surprised if many others have had accidents.
This punk blond kid and his wife/girlfriend drive up and down Amethyst to and from their house at 860 Amethyst Dr NE in a black Pathfinder and a black Tahoe doing as fast as 60. They've almost hit me twice and even then didn't slow down. They then run stop signs at Saratoga, do 50-60 mph down Saratoga to Rockaway and then go even faster. Could these kids be stopped? If need be I'll testify! I live on Amethyst and have 5 kids, don't need a dead one.
Between Abrazo And Idalia On Unser Rio Rancho, NM - Rio Rancho
How long is the city going to allow those unfinished town homes to sit there abandoned? They look like hell, the weeds are atrocious, and there has not been any sign of movement in that area for a very long time. I am proud to be part of Rio Rancho but those make this city look run down. Something needs to be done with those-either finish them or tear them down.
