    Snow from the March 15th storm is still blocking big sections of the bike path on North Ave, creating tight spots for people on bikes and people driving. The issue is primarily on the west side of the Avenue starting near the Elks Club and extends south along the Ave where there is no green belt for snow storage.

    Dangerous road surface. This is not part of the big projects, but has been a problem for a long time. When is it estimated to be addressed?
  • 2 Leddy Park Road Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
    Poison ivy, Leddy Park, in area between soccer fields, racket courts, upper parking lot, playground and basketball court. The area is heavily used by local families, people walk through this area, and children chase balls into poison ivy infected areas. On weekend when there are soccer games, the area is packed with children. In contrast, an area next to Leddy arena that is rarely used is overly groomed. This area needs growth of trees and brush to prevent erosion of the soil which is causing the shoreline to erode. Trees are falling into the lake. There are dangerous sand cliffs that could give way. Needs to be roped off with warning signs, and growth allowed to recover to help stabilize the bank. Meanwhile, mowing needs to be done in the area of poison ivy. A grandmother told us her grandchild had been hospitalized with ivy skin poisoning after coming to watch a soccer game. NPA and Graffiti team painted a huge mural on back of old theater and requested a few picnic tables in the area to create family-friendly atmosphere.

    Turning onto Riverside Ave from the Winooski Bridge, there is no Yellow Light, i have ran several Reds due to them changing with no warning.

    This is a Tax exempt UVM building. UVM is neglecting it to the detriment of the building, the neighborhood, and the environment, not to mention its own brand and reputation. This is shameful and baffling.

    -Oak
    -Manhattan (there is an construction rubble pile that has been there for nearly a month at the 127 ramp as well as debris on the middle of the road)
    -Washington
    -north ave
    -park street
    -intersection of park, battery and North ave is also full of debris
    -North Champlain (especially the intersection of Manhattan and North Champlain)
    -North Winooski Ave
    -south Winooski ave
    -Colchester Ave
    -intersection of riverside, Barrett and Colchester ave is also full of debris
    -Pearl Street
    -Willard North and South
    -union north and south
    -Main Street
    -south prospect
    -Pine Street
    -cherry street
    -Flynn ave
    -intersection of home ave and Pine.

    Speeding, peeling out, wheelies, etc are terrorizing our neighborhood and putting everyone's safety at risk. We need a solution like speed bumps or a permanent closing of Rose St. where it meets North St. (this would also solve the loading truck issue w/ JR's).

    There is a growing camp in the wooded area behind Generator stretching into the parking lot behind Champlain College building. They have generators, semi-permanent structures, numerous vehicles. There are "guards" who are aggressively policing the area on bike and speeding cars, verbally threatening people passing by.
