Parking on Multi-Use Path Archived365 Riverside Ave Burlington, VT 05401, Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
Finding people parked in front of Hall's Hitches & Welding is a daily occurrence, this can cause bicycle and foot traffic to veer off the path and sometimes into the street in order to pass.
Hall's Hitches & Welding needs another visit to remind them of this parking violation....please issue a warning or a ticket as I have proof here and can continue to pass on video and/or photo proof. -
Transportation and Parking Improvement Request Acknowledged174 Home Ave Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
I do not know what the city can do other than build the Champlain Parkway finally after 4 decades, but until then if something is not done to deal with the constant speeding traffic and massive tractor trailer trucks that cascade down Home Ave at all hours of the day, someone is going to get seriously hurt or worse. Kids are scared to walk out of their front doors or walk to school because it is like playing a game of frogger every morning and afternoon at rush hour.
Why is the city and state so dysfunctional? Why can't they bring any large infrastructure project successfully to fruition?

Sweeping Needed Archived311-327 Pine Street Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
Bike lanes city wide are lousy with a winter's worth of gravel, silt, litter and other debris which pose loss of control hazards and crash hazards.
Streets with significant pothole issues, e.g. Pine St and North Ave, are significantly worse as all the pothole debris gets pushed into the bike lanes. In some areas this has formed gravel mounds that are inches high.

Illegal meter parking AGAIN! Archived70 Cherry Street Burlington, Vermont - Burlington ElectricAfter being told the problem was being rectified by Chapin Spencer, today there are 2 CCTA cars parked at meters UNPAID and 2 buses at the intersection of Cherry and Pine. 1 bus is at a meter unpaid and 1 parked in a no parking zone.

Pedestrian Signal Needed ArchivedMaple And Battery St Burlington, Vermont - Burlington ElectricThere are no pedestrian signals at Battery and Maple. This is a high volume intersection that needs dedicated pedestrian signals to allow people to safely cross including those that need extra time. This connects to the Burlington Bike Path on one side and should allow for better pedestrian experience. I had three cars cut me off trying to walk across this intersection. Two of them doing right on red.

Callahan Park Access Acknowledged80 Cherry Ln Burlington, Vermont - Burlington ElectricPlease repair the paved path between Callahan Park and the Birchcliff Parkway neighborhood. The pavement is in terrible condition. Pedestrians (many of them children!) are tripping and falling. We need a pedestrian- and bike-friendly path between the Five Sisters neighborhood and Champlain Elementary School. Thank you.
