For Rent signs up year round Archived1-13 Pitkin St Burlington, VT 05401, USA - Burlington ElectricThese signs are up year round on all of the Bissonette properties. Does he have a permit for this? They are ugly and give a transient feel to the neighborhoods they're in.

Bike Detection Marker Needed Archived436-448 College Street Burlington, Vermont - Burlington ElectricThe College Street Bike Path ends at the intersection of College and South Prospect. It is very hard to activate the left turn signal to turn from College St onto South Prospect when using a bike. Since this is the end of the bike path and many bicyclists will turn left it would make sense to mark this area like what has been done at the exit of Trinity Campus on Colchester Ave at East Ave. Please place the marker as far to the left as possible to help bicyclists avoid vehicles trying to get around them.

Bike lane needs street sweeping Archived56-88 U.S. Route 2 Burlington, Vermont - Burlington ElectricLots of debris in the bike lane at the intersection with Brookes ave, plus a bunch of broken glass on the block between Brookes & Loomis. The whole length of this bike lane could use some street sweeping.

Bike lanes worn away Archived86 North Union Street Burlington, VT 05401, USA - Burlington ElectricAll the paint marking the separation between bikes & cars on this street has been worn off by cars driving in the bike lane. Only the bike arrows are visible (barely).
-
517-605 North Avenue Burlington, Vermont - Burlington ElectricDue to all the potholes in the southbound lane between the 127 & the high school, combined with cars not following the actual radius of the turn, the bike lanes have completely worn away from car traffic over the winter. Please repaint ASAP, there is a lot of extra tourist bike traffic currently because of the detour, increasing the chances that somebody is going to get hurt.

Broken glass in bike lane Archived351-455 North Avenue Burlington, Vermont - Burlington ElectricAcross from 432.
-
Wrong lanes wrong lights Archived152-194 S Union St Burlington, VT 05401, USA - Burlington ElectricThe right lane should be right OR straight. Most traffic goes left or straight, so it takes many light cycles to move cars through the intersection. Allowing cars to go straight in the right lane would move way more cars.

Trucks parked on Bike path/sidewalk Archived389 Riverside Avenue Burlington, Vermont - Burlington ElectricThere is almost always a truck parked on the sidewalk/bike path in front of Hal's Hitches and Welding. It's dangerous and inconvenient, as it requires cyclists to enter the street where there is no marked bike lane.

Parking on lawns or yards Archived57-59 N Winooski Ave Burlington, VT 05401, USA - Burlington ElectricThis is a toxic site. It is also my repair man. It is out of control and poisonous and needs to be addressed.

Parking signed as legal on bike lane Archived411 Colchester Avenue Burlington Vermont - Burlington Electric
The signage on the Colchester Ave bike lane is such that it allows residents to legally park in the lane at the top of the hill. The no parking needs to be moved down the hill to the point where the bike lane transitions from outside the parking to the curb. There is a section as seen in the photo where the car is legally parked according to the signs but blocks the bike lane causing bikes to have to swerve out into traffic while going up a busy steep hill. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW PARKING IN BIKE LANE!

Sidewalks Acknowledged802 Colchester Avenue Burlington, Vermont - Burlington ElectricA big gap has formed which could easily cause a biker or pedestrian to tumble into fast-moving traffic. The metal joint plate covering the gap creates a dangerous surface.
