Jet ski use at North Beach Archived15 Rock Point Rd Burlington, VT, 05408, USA - Burlington ElectricI swim at North Beach. This is the first year that people are constantly using jet skis to go back & forth just outside the no-boats zone. Their practice of back & forth, around in circles, slapping waves creates a constant source of noise pollution, similar to hearing a chain saw. I am constantly worried they will lose control and run me over. North Beach used to be a peaceful family location, with the only noises laughter and a radio now & then. Now it is very stressful, which is really too bad since we are in a pandemic and people need stress relief. Another factor is pollution: is there a law against the older 2-stroke machines? In addition, the underwater sound may have impact on aquatic life. Please ban the use of jet skis at North Beach. Thank you.
