The entire stretch of East Border Road from the Fellsway to Blomerth Street is un-shoveled (except for the house on the corner of Blomerth and E. Border). This is the only walking route to Oak Grove for our whole neighborhood and walking in the street is extremely dangerous because it's a blind corner where cars travel fast down the hill.
Every morning while I am at the bus stop waiting for the bus, I notice that most of the cars travelling down Clifton Street are barely slowing down for the STOP sign (in both directions) making this a dangerous intersection for everyone, especially pedestrians. Either the intersection should be changed from a 4 way STOP to a just STOP signs on Dexter street, or a traffic light should be installed.
Both the street and sidewalk (at the end of the street, the first half was done years ago) are so old they are impossible to walk down unless you walk in the middle of the street. The portion of Pagum Street that is poor is the Columbia St to Willard Street portion, it's over 30 years old.
241 pearl, green house. This house has never shoveled their sidewalk this year. I wanted to let you know that one of the residents of this house regularly parks his pick up truck which even has a snowblower in its bed. This is ridiculous. Obviously they are not receiving fines or they would be using their very own snowblower on their very own property.
Corner of Spring st and Tremont st. houses on both sides of the street do not shovel sidewalks. The snow on the corner in front of the yellow house makes it impossible to see cars coming down Tremont st. when trying to make the turn from Spring onto Tremont. Very dangerous situation
Noticed at night time random vehicles would park on our driveway for a couple minutes? Not sure what to do about this? The last time we were able to catch the person parking on it but today we were unable to. Do we just call the non-emergency line to have them towed? Or can we do something because these cars keep trespassing on our property and we don't know who they are and don't know how safe it would be confront these people? Please advise.
The sidewalks along Amerige Park have not been cleared of snow all winter. There are many many residents who attempt to walk there with there pets, and end up walking in the streets causing problems for people driving. I don't ever remember the city not taking care of the sidewalks around the park. Usually there is a little bobcat type thing that clears all those sidewalks.
We have been in the routine of not receiving mail certain days of the week. No one on my direct neighborhood received mail yesterday. Not the first time. We ate seeing a pattern now. Tried calling the post office and phone is off the hook. For two days now it rings busy all day. Same thing last week when we didn't receive mail. Its not because of the snow. Anybody else want to join in this matter. If they don't answer the phone and take it off the hook then this forum is our last resort.
Can we please get more police details out on Fellsway East. The current speed limit is 25mph but we endanger our lives each day trying to cross this street. Cars zoom down this street, faster than the posted limit and do not stop for people in cross walks. Kids are in danger because people are being allowed to travel at excessive speeds on this road. Thanks for your time.
Car has eluded traffic enforcement and police have driven by this twice that I have seen. There is NO winter over night parking on Ivy Road. I believe there is also a law that cars must park 20? feet from an intersection. This car has been parked on the corner since the first blizzard "Juno". Calls to Malden Traffic dept have not been acknowledged. Car is impeding plows as well as making it difficult to go around the corner onto Rockland Ave.
people constantly park vehicles in front of dunkin donuts blocking the lane and block traffic from flowing in the right lane to turn on pleasent street. sign clearly states no parking or standing anytime.
