Why are some waterfront events much noisier than others (example, March 19th) when - so we were told by the Asst. City Manager -- events are monitored for sound levels, and a city ordinance requires that load speakers must be oriented away from the city and face out over the river.
  • 500 Butte Street Vallejo, California - Vallejo
The entire length of Butte Street -- from the Steps on Florida Street, all the way to the Causeway on Tennessee Street.has a string of huge cavities covered with massive steel plates. Neighborhood disruption -- not just closures on Butte itself, but closure of cross streets, and parking of construction equipment two or more blocks away -- came to a sudden end on New Years Eve. leaving those giant holes and their steel lids in place and abandoned. I tried Public Works and City Hall's Ministry of Truth, and found only one link -- to SeeClickFix! So what's happening

  • 710 Mare Island Way Vallejo, California - Vallejo

Does anyone at City Hall acknowledge responsibility for -- or even care about -- the blighted, and raped, once lovely and landscaped mini-park at the bottom of Louisiana Street, and demarcated by Trinity Street, Harbor Way, and Packard Alley?

Scraped bare by city earth movers, bordered by derelict, grafittied KRail....

    Trash dumped on street
  • 237 Ohio Street Vallejo, California - Vallejo
Up to ten pickup trucks, loaded with junk and trash, and parked in driveway, and on street overnight -- at a 2 bedroom house! People coming and going at all hours but, when observed by neighbors, walking on by, and returning later. Drunken arguments and fighting on nearby streets - police have been called. Some kind of demolition and construction going on in the rear, not visible from the street, but involving a concrete mixer.

  • Overland Alley behind 120 Ohio St, Vallejo, California - Vallejo

  • 37 Ohio St Vallejo, CA, 94590, USA - Vallejo
So now that this shipping container has lost most of its makeshift roof can something be done? It’s been reported multiple times by multiple people with no resolution and comments from code enforcement saying there are no city codes to abate shipping containers placed on open lots. I truly find it hard to believe that there is not one city code that covers this as blight. Please try to do something about this illegally placed an unwanted container like having it removed by the owner.
