156-172 Georgia 138 Stockbridge, GA 30281, USA - Henry CountyThere is a brown boarded up house near a church and Chevron just past 138/42 intersection. The second one is a brick house that burnt up where a child was killed in it just before Millers Mill. There is an empty brick house that the DOT used as an office when the bridge was going in on 138. There is a blue house that use to be a barber shop on the corner of 138/Hemphill.
6390 Roswell Rd Sandy Springs, GA - Sandy SpringsThis is an update to a story we reported last Friday night. After we found the bursted grate, I was walking to work on Saturday morning, and what did I find, the infamous, and loud, metal plate is back, and louder than ever. Again, the DOT, like always, has done an attempted patchwork job, and made things worse.
Spring Buford Conn Atlanta, GA - Lindridge/Martin ManorThe GADOT just recently finish repaving the Spring/Buford Connector. However, the exit ramp to enter North I-85 had many pot hole before the repaving and now they're back, and bigger than before. If left unnoticed, the hole will be worse than before.
2860 Holcomb Bridge Rd Roswell 30076, United States - RoswellPothole still not fixed even though GDOT said it was and closed the issue.
Mill Rd McDonough 30253, United States - Henry CountyGuys! There is practically NO lines left on Jonesboro Rd. near Mill Rd. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen. HCDOT says they may have money next year in the LMIG fund. We CANNOT wait until next year to get this addressed!
2247 North Decatur Road Decatur, Georgia - DecaturPotholes and sinkholes on N Decatur road, both sides of the road after N. Superior and Superior ave. Been reported to City of Decatur several times. DeKalb county says "not their problem." GDOT says not their problem. Decatur says 'problem assigned." Whose problem is it? If more people will report these problems, we might get them fixed.
3080-3098 Old Alabama Rd Johns Creek, Georgia - Johns Creek
The dotted white lines are missing from the Haynes Bridge Road /Old Alabama Road intersection. When turning north onto Old Alabama Road from Haynes Bridge Road there are 2 lanes and the right lane tends to cut the turn short into the left lane. The lane separation lines do help.
14 Shellwind Drive Savannah, Georgia - Landings Associationt is believed to have been a Jasper Towing Super Duty Ford 350 with Penn Tag RKN1317, USDOT # 2967645, Company Phone # 843-592-0015 that struck these two Mailboxes. William Baker of 74 Village Green Circle called in the event around 1118 on 9/15/17. At 1212 on 9/15/17 I, Sgt. J. Waclawski spoke with the home owners at 14 Shellwind Robert Williams and Alice Booth. Mr. Williams stated that he was near his garage when he saw what he believed to be a Flatbed Truck drive by and drop something. He stated that he heard the driver get out of the vehicle, move something then drive away. Mr. Williams was unable to give a description of the vehicle or the driver due to his line of sight. Mr. Williams then stated several minutes later he walked out to the curb and noticed his and his neighbors mailboxes on the ground. I informed the home owners that I had already spoken to the individual I believed had hit the mailboxes and would be forwarding this report to Public Works for repair of the two Mailboxes.
5925-6015 Zebulon Road Macon, Georgia - Macon-Bibb CountyThere's an electronic message sign on the sidewalk, it looks like a GDOT sign, but it belongs to a church. It should not be allowed. It looks like an official GDOT sign but the message is not about traffic or road hazard. They are advertising the church!
2599 Vineville Avenue Macon, Georgia - Macon
Reported this issue before #3735298. I contacted GDOT and followed up like you mentioned.
There response: I need to advise that unless there is a drainage structure at this curb & gutter radius section, the DOT does not repair broken up sections of C & G or sidewalk.
Please advise MBPW if this.

Please address this matter
inaccurate sign on entrance ramp to I-75 N (from Jodeco Rd)
The sign "right lane ends" is not accurate and should be changed to "Left Lane Ends." The far-right entrance lane continues when entering from Jodeco Rd (westbound). Actually, the left lane ends after vehicles enter the on-ramp from the left (turn) lane after traveling eastbound on Jodeco Rd, and the painted markings on the lanes so indicate - requiring traffic from the left lane to merge right.
Similar to other entrance ways that desire to keep traffic moving, I also recommend adding a sign stating "Keep Moving" (or similar acceptable signage) near the on-ramp entrance for vehicles that enter the on-ramp and occupy the right-most lane.
I originally submitted this action to GDOT (via their website) on 2/21/2018; no action has been taken to date to remedy the issue. GDOT responded on 2/21/2018 indicating it was a "Valid complaint" and "Your inquiry will be sent to your specific Georgia DOT district department (District 3) that covers your area. A district representative will contact you in to the matter in efforts to resolve the issue."
I submitted a subsequent inquiry to the GDOT Customer Service email address on 7/8/2018 resulting in no response.
