Notified About

  • Hudson And Claremont Oakland, California - Rockridge
There is an ongoing problem regarding homelessness in Frog Park and across the street on both Hudson and Claremont. This issue is of great concern to our community as there are adults performing in lewd and inappropriate behavior, leaving trash and debris on the sidewalks and in the park as well as drug paraphernalia and a very unsafe element in and around children's play areas. I have actually witnessed people shooting up on the sidewalk and in the park on the bench near the basketball hoops. This needs to be cleaned up and made safe for children to play.

  • Illegal Dumping Acknowledged
5401-5417 Shafter Ave Oakland, CA 94618, USA - Shafter
*** What is going on here?*** Why is nothing being done to remove this junk hoarded on a public street? No one is living here. It is all illegal dumping. A van or truck pulls up almost every day to add more junk. Many people have reported this why is nothing being done?
  • 5901-5999 Ayala Ave Oakland, CA, 94609, USA - Fairview Park
The intersection of Forest and Ayala continues to be a problem, with no traffic controls at this intersection. A minimum of one stop sign is needed, as well as cross walks. Dozens of school kids walk through there daily, and are at danger.
  • 5439 Claremont Avenue Oakland, California - Shafter
There is a man in a large white van unloading misc. materials onto the underpass in front of the undersea mural, across from FROG Park. The man seems to be building up a collection of things there and then covering them with a tarp. Today is the first day I've witnessed him adding things, but the row of misc. materials has definitely been growing over the past couple weeks. This is not the first time there's been a build-up of materials in this location.
  • Sidewalk Acknowledged
Hudson Street And Claremont Avenue Oakland, California - Shafter
A homeless camp has recently set up on the sidewalk of Hudson Street near the intersection of Claremont Avenue. This camp partially blocks the sidewalk where tax paying citizens line up for casual carpool rides into the city to go to work. It is also directly across the street from Frog Park where children go to play. It appears that the city of Oakland has already forfeited the Claremont Avenue off ramp to a permanent homeless camp and this appears to be the next step in homeless occupation of Frog Park and the surrounding area. This is not acceptable and should be addressed quickly before this camp also becomes a permanent fixture in the neighborhood.
  • 5408–5456 Claremont Ave Oakland 94618, United States - Shafter
Giant pile of hoarded junk blocking the sidewalk - this is an ADA access issue! Has been here for over a year. Why is the city not addressing this after numerous report? Do the city staff just not care?
