Pulaski Park and surrounding areas. Area is similar to northern portion of Ward 1B and includes: Mater Dolorosa, Pizza D'Action, The Wherehouse, 202 Rotary, Open Square, Echo Hill Townhouses, Robert E. Barrett Fishway, St. Patty's Day Road Race Starting Line, and two bridges over the 1st and 2nd level of the Canal.

    What a h e double hockey sticks hole! Holyokes own Gitmo.. So where are all these variances for this kind of fencing filed? And why does everyone in government think these guys are untouchable? Places with high standards of living don't treat children this way, even insurance companies know male brains aren't fully developed until 25. Ohh I'm sure the white kids pass right by this place.

    Signals at the intersection of Maple and Lyman work intermittently. The majority of the time the traffic lights are on blink.

    This is just one of the broken benches on Pulaski Park. From where I am sitting I can see at least 3 broken benches an an overflowing trash container.

    Lyman st before the light to turn to maple. That area and the only time that is clean is in March for Patrick parade. Down town is looking dirty. DPW. Need to work harder the city looks dirty again.

    This sidewalk has not been sanded or salted and is covered in ice. Please maintain the streets. This is very unsafe.

    There are deep tire ruts all through the park area around the swings. Children are tripping and falling when they try to play. There are also ruts on the lower part behind the American Legion. Could this be fixed before a child is seriously hurt? Thank you.

    The company American Environmental makes lots of noise all the time loading and unloading cavernous metal trucks, back up beeps, etc. Their parking lot abuts housing on Grover and Lyman Streets. The business activities here are unsuitable for a residential neighborhood. The most disturbing is when they do these things in the wee hours of the morning - around 5:00 am - sometimes earlier. Waking us from a sound sleep. Or ruin whole weekends with the loud constant beeps and smash crashing bang sounds going on entire days.

    Stray Cats. Is there an animal control officer or a correct way to deal with strays? I have 2 farrow cats outside my window almost nightly howling. I know there are plenty of other animal issues, I am just curious if anything can be done about it, like get them taken away?
    The condo association has told people not to feed the stray animals as this attracts other wild creatures.

    I am hearing of all of these projects the state is starting around Holyoke yet the bridge over the upper canal on Lyman Street is still a mess. When is the city going to get onto the state to get that bridge repaired. It has been a number of years since the lower bridge has been repaired.
