Notified About

  • Creedmoor And Howard Raleigh, NC - Raleigh Council District A
This is a very dangerous intersection to make a left turn in, specifically heading north turning onto Howard. The turn should be made a left-arrow only turn.
  • 7025 Brecken Ridge Avenue Raleigh, NC - Raleigh Council District A
The back gate is open to a swimming pool area, creating a possible hazard for people and animals. There are no lights on or activity, the property may be abandoned. A while back, there was a lot of construction at random times and days on the back of the house and the outbuilding, leaving some debris behind the fence, and a concern as to the safety and quality of the construction.
  • Rowan St And Six Forks Raleigh, NC - Six Forks Corridor
A left turn light is needed when turning onto Six Forks from Rowan Street by St. Timothy's School. This is especially needed during school arrival and dismissal. The cars turing left onto Six Forks from St. Timothy's School and the cars turning left onto Six Forks from Carroll Middle School have trouble safely turning. Please fix this before there is a severe accident and a child from one of the schools is hurt.

4309 Pamlico Dr Raleigh, NC 27609, USA - Six Forks
Please paint white lines on Rowan St. at the base of the stop signs in both directions. This intersection has been conducive to drivers running the stop signs for many years and the city has already invested heavily in trying to prevent this. However, I believe a solution as simple as white lines on the street would provide the necessary visual queue for drivers approaching the intersection on Rowan St.
  • 817 Northbrook Drive Raleigh, NC 27609, USA - Six Forks
Three speed hunps on Northbrook are too high, and were installed in violation of the City of Raleigh Neighborhood Traffic Management Program, section 4.3.2. The city's own traffic count was 4,120, so speed humps should never have been considered. These public nuisances should be removed immediately.
  • 7321 Laketree Drive Raleigh, North Carolina - Raleigh Council District A
Garbage is strewn all over the driveway. Discarded couch sitting in the front yard.
This house was recently discovered by the police to have a meth lab on site.
  • 5300-5398 Lead Mine Road Raleigh, NC 27612, USA - Raleigh Council District A
Litter has been an issue along Lead Mine between Town and Country Rd and Millbrook. DOT or city (whomever manages) roadside landscape maintenance either rund trash over or kicks it further to the side. Please have someone come out and pick up
  • 100 Dartmouth Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Six Forks Corridor
North Hills and North Hills East could be connected via a pedestrian bridge over Six Forks Road at Dartmouth.
  • 4200 Quail Hollow Drive Raleigh, North Carolina - Falls Of Neuse

In the Eastgate Park playground, there is a set of steps for the younger children's playset that is dangerous. Picture attached. The steps are uneven (by design) with drop off and no railings. For steps meant for younger children that don't yet have good stability this is incredibly dangerous. Although I know the parks staff chooses certified safe equipment, this particular piece amazes me as it seems dangerous by design.

Does anyone else feel these stairs are inherently dangerous and in need of replacement?

Btw, beyond this, all the playground equipment seems great.

  • Potholes Archived
7500-7548 Mourning Dove Rd Raleigh, North Carolina - Raleigh Council District A
Potholes at Six Forks and Mourning Dove Red.
  • 825 Northbrook Drive Raleigh, NC - Six Forks

The new speed bumps on Northbrook Drive are too aggressive. The speed limit is 30 mph through that section (outside of school hours). The signage indicates these are 25mph bumps, however I have passed with three different cars and only feel like my property is safe from damage at a maximum of 19mph.

This is an excessive, imposing, and offensive traffic calming method, especially to neighbors who have to travel through this section multiple times per day. Speeds of 25-30 mph through these areas outside of school times are slow enough to give reasonably alert drivers and pedestrians ample time to respond to typical hazards.

Please modify these bumps so that the average, well-maintained car can navigate at the posted safe speed without damaging the driver's personal property.

  • 5436 Six Forks Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Six Forks Corridor
Almost every time I pass by or go to Food Lion at this shopping center I notice car(s) parking at the front of the store in the Fire Zone No Parking. There are signs here, but apparently the boots (local police officers) need to begin writing tickets so people take it serious. It's very unsafe for children walking out of the store (on coming traffic won't see the pedestrian if cars are parked there)
