silver vehicle has been parked in front of 29 Durso Ave since Saturday and has not moved. vehicle is taking up a spot for other residence of the street. from my understanding you are not allowed to park a vehicle for more than 72 hours without moving it. with winter parking in affect we all must fight for parking spots here and leaving a car in a parking spot for 4+ days is not fair to other residence.
Huge pot holes on Broadway. They need to be filled! They are worse than before when they were reported and nothing was done to fix them. My husband hit one about 30 mins ago and got a flat tire. Cars are goaing to be damaged if they are not filled
I have noticed many trucks are using Elwell Street as a cut through from Broadway to Maplewood to avoid Salem Street and Broadway grid lock in the morning. Bad enough we have to walk on the Street to get down Elwell to the bus stop we are now taking our lives in our hands. I have seen Milk trucks, cigarette trucks, and many others that have no business up here. Can we get trucks for delivery only signs, And some speed enforcement? It has gotten way out of hand up here.
Is Malden making any special plans for traffic on Broadway? From the Moose Club to Speedway Gas Station in the morning is now taking almost half hour because of people trying to avoid going over the Tobin Bridge. With the Casino opening in June, is it time to start thinking about moving out of Malden? Are there going to be special detail officers to control the lights at these major intersections? It would be nice to see a Malden Traffic Cop pulling traffic through these jammed up intersections once in awhile.
Is it possible to get an occasional ride by at the Trafton dog park by the police. People are there at 6am and by 7 -730 there are at least 6-8 people. It's bad enough to listen to dogs barking 12 hrs a day but the times posted should be enforced. Malden is the only city with a dog park in a residential neighborhood. It was put in without any neighbors knowledge by an EX politician.
Limebike went wild dumping several limebikes on Broadway on sidewalks, in front of private residences and businesses, and many obstructing access to sidewalks, like this one that is blocking sidewalk at 500 Broadway. There needs to be some regulation of where and how many of this eyesore product can get placed in neighborhoods. Also no helmets provided!
