    This commercial property at the corner of 7th & Q St NW is falling down & has been a blight in the neighborhood for over 20 years. A Metro bus ran into the 7th St side before that time & the owner never repaired the damage. From my understanding the current owner declared bankruptcy a few years ago. This is located on a prominent corner in the middle of a revitalized neighborhood. It has been too many years for our neighborhood to have this eyesore. Why can't the city claim " Eminent Domain" & seize the property for the good of the community ( as they did for National's Park )??????
