Northwest Corner Of 3rd And H Streets Northeast Washington, District of Columbia - Capitol Hill
Because 3rd street is closed to through traffic due to construction, garbage trucks have not been down the street - although they can still enter via I street. They'd just have to back out or make a U-turn. However, pedestrians continue to put trash into the trash receptacle and it is now overflowing.
337 H Street Northeast Washington, DC 20002, United States of America - Capitol Hill
Vacant property on corner of 4th St NE and H Street NE (southwest corner). Property has been abandoned for years. Attached garage door has collapsed several times such that the garage is often open and accessible.
200 G Street Ne Washington, District of Columbia - Capitol Hill
Cars, Trucks, SUVs and city service vehicles including large vehicles illegally park between the legal parking areas and the crosswalk. This is a busy and narrow intersection and this is dangerous because it makes it harder to see bicyclists and pedestrians crossing either 2nd Street or G Street when vehicles block drivers views. Bollards are needed on both sides of G at the intersection and on the east side of 2nd Street to prevent this behavior. Often people park not just for a minute or two for passenger pickup but wait or park for extended periods of time while waiting for someone.
Modify the method so residents can see more information about an issue. Being closed does not mean being fixed. We need to know when things are scheduled to be fixed not if the reported information is added into a separate recording system only accessible to DC employees and the person making the request. Everyone needs to see the info and schedule. See the issue referenced in the picture for an example.
