The abandoned train tracks crossing Mandela are quite unevan, and the blacktop around it has buckled up and down causing a severe hazard to cyclists. The problem is at it's worst in the bicycle lane, so to safely cross the tracks you have to go to the far left lane, or make a sharp curve onto 26th street to loop around the tracks.

The homeless encampment has spread out to every sidewalk making it impossible to pass either way without walking in the street. My kids have to get to the bus. They were going out of there way to miss the encampment but now it's unavoidable. Same thing when I walk my dogs. I almost stepped on a needle. It's better if the residents of the encampment stay in the middle section under the over pass.

Homeless encampment behind Nordstrom Rack is spilling out into the road, blocking one lane of traffic and creating a safety hazard. Campers have shopping carts, mattresses, furniture, trash and household items partially obstructing the right hand lane.
