Speeding cars and semi-trucks are travelling down Clark street during school hours and while children are leaving school. Many of these vehicles are running red lights and rolling through stop signs. The truck traffic should be re-routed to Livernois or Rosa Parks; slower speed limits posted and enforced, and a police officer from the DPD or DPSD should be present. Our children's lives are at great risk.
BAKER STREET WAS NOT PLOWED.
IT ONLY GOES FROM CALVERY AND EMPTIES IN TO MOST HOLY REDEEMER PARISH AND CHRISTO REY HS. IT IS AN DROP OFF ENTERANCE STREET FOR THE SCHOOLS. SEVERAL CARS AND TRUCKS GOT STUCK BECAUSE OF THE AMOUNT OF SNOW.
I saw a man driving a semi truck with a GFS trailer drag this onto the property. I yelled to him but he drove away before I could get his plate number or picture. It’s from a maple tree. There are no maple trees around here, so he must have brought it in his truck.
tree might have termites, limbs have fallen and damaged neighbors gate and car and have almost fallen on people, tree is leaning toward my house I'm concerned it will fall and damage our house or worse.
Missing and confusing signage has made my block unsafe. Location: SB I-75 Service Dr. at W. Grand Boulevard. This intersection had traffic signals removed and stop signs put in place. The stop sign is currently obstructing the "trucks over 2 axles keep off" sign in the median. A "no trucks" and speed limit 25 are missing at intersection, they exist in photos included via Google maps from 2009. The service drive ends at W. Grand Blvd. and becomes W. Lafayette, a residential only street. All drivers used to be told to use Fort St. at that intersection but the signs were removed during construction and never put back. Drivers are now rolling through two sets of stop signs and speeding on my block of W. Lafayette (west of said intersection). The residential stretch of W. Lafayette between W. Grand Blvd. and Hubbard needs better protection with any of the following traffic calming measures: stop signs, paint lines, pedestrian crossing signs, speed limit or a no trucks sign or local traffic only on W. Lafayette, west of W. Grand Blvd. There is a senior living center, a pedestrian bridge crossing, a park and a school on this stretch where semis constantly disregard the signs and barrel through anyways. It is not safe. Thank you for your time.
