The tree is overgrown, causing the sidewalk to heave and crack. The brick staircase is crumbling. There are piles of trash accumulating around the staircase and the area always smells like feces and urine. I think the property is vacant and is owned by an absentee
My city stinks because of our city trash trucks have bad seals on the rear of the trucks. Every trash day the city gets a fresh coat of trash truck juice. The juice just leaks out the back of the trash trucks. And if it rain the night before than we really get alot of trash truck juice. The FACT of the matter is if one trash trucks route is to pickup trash from 200 to 400 house and a 1 to 2mile area, This truck just coat 2 miles of the city with juice just times that by 10. Heres another fact if a trash truck dumps trash at a unapproved site they get fined. Well trash is not only solid but its liquid to. So if the city of philadelphia is not going to makes sure the rear seals on their trucks are safe than maybe they need to be fine by the E.P.A.
This property is on the corner of 8th and Federal Streets. This property is very large with a garage and could be a wonderful addition to the neighborhood if it were not vacant. This house too is in violation of the doors and windows law. It is a frequent target of graffiti, loitering, and trash.
When the weather is warm there is a 2005-ish White Buick with DARK (5%) tinted windows that parks near the playground. The driver a black male with dark complexion in his 20's along with a group of friends will pick up females to offer them drugs. Chicks come out of the car high and stumbling... They really think they car cool and blast the subwoofers in his trunk as they park. They will stop traffic just to "Holla" that the females who want to get high in the car. They are a nussiance to the playground filled with children.
This massive muli-unit vacant has open doors and windows. Squatters and drug deals are frequent. The sidewalk is so bad, people pushing kids in strollers have to use the other side of the street. Especially dangerous when covered in ice and snow during winter months.
