Wood And Middlesex St. Rourke Bridge Lowell, MA - Lowell
on the bridge going away from middlesex st the lights on the right side the lights have been on all the time for a few weeks now; the lights on left side have been off and never going on. i have called the city of lowell-- national grid and the state with no results.. this is a safty hazard because people walking over the bridge are doing it in darkness at night and it is hard for cars to drive over it at night time
The owners finally removed the dumpster after 4 months, only to leave this mess visible from the street. Will this house ever be cleaned up or do all the neighbors have to deal with this forever? The owner has been cited numerous times.
Displaced railing on walkway between UMass inn and conference center and locks. The railing and the granite block are on the ground below where the railing should be. The drop is about 10 feet and has been like this for about 3 months.

501-509 Andover Street Lowell, MA 01852, USA - Lowell
Is it possible to get a crosswalk at Butman Road and Andover Street. There are LRTA bus stops (routes 2 & 11) on both sides of Andover at Butman. Andover is a very busy and wide street and it is difficult to access the bus, especially at rush hour.
"Historic" building in between Canal Place 1 and Canal Place 3 is crumbling and about to collapse onto roadway and pedestrian walkway. Scaffolding was erected aprox 3 years ago to protect pedestrians from falling debris, this closed the roadway over 3 years ago. Scaffolding is not enough to protect people and the adjacent buildings when the structure collapses. There was a large collapse inside the vacant building this winter.

Any reason why the RMV sign has not been removed. They have been out of this location for almost two years. Being from this neighborhood, I always see people stilll trying to open the front door and walking away very unhappy. I think that it's about time to remove this sign.
Seems being a pedestrian in Lowell has it's issues lately. The walk signal fixture is missing on at the intersection of Merrimack, Arcand and Dutton streets. The missing fixture was on the post closest to the small, monument park
Pedestrians attempting to cross Market/Central/Prescott never gain relief from all traffic on the walk signals, so have to navigate through moving vehicles. Especially due to the new 2-way traffic pattern, this is increasingly dangerous. The light cycles need to accommodate crossings in all directions free of traffic. There are a large number of mobility-impaired residents crossing at this corner all throughout the day.
