There are 2 shopping carts left along the Waverly Ave side of our house on the corner. One empty shopping cart near the corner and one cart full of garbage closer to halfway down the block. There's a third dumping as well of a long box filled with old florescent light bulbs leaned against one of our black gates to our property.
  • 403 6th Ave Menlo Park - North Fair Oaks
Garbage dumpster overflowing since 7/9, when garbage collection is not until 7/16. Couch on sidewalk for weeks. Furniture and microwave out there since 7/9 as well. Every week more debris and garbage collects at the entrance to the street in front of 403 6th Ave.

  • 3632 Haven Ave Redwood City, CA 94063, USA - Menlo Park
Almost every morning there are semi trucks unloading cars on the NO PARKING side of Haven Ave. Now this wouldn't necessarily be an issue but it has and will cause more accidents for the residence trying to exit Anton Menlo Apartments. These trucks completely block the view to get out of the complex almost causing accidents because you have to creep into cross traffic just to see if you can cross onto East Haven Ave. Porsche needs to be notified they have to unload cars on there side of the street where parking is allowed or on there enormous lot.

Is there currently any plan to install a crosswalk across Haven Avenue at the stop-sign located at the intersection of Haven Ave. and Haven Court?

There is an ADA ramp on both sides of Haven Ave. at the stop-sign and a crosswalk across Haven Court. This is a major thoroughfare and with the addition of AntonMenlo housing has increased the pedestrian traffic in addition to employees that work in the area.

I believe this section of the intersection lies within the Menlo Park City boundary.

At certain times of the day it is very difficult to cross the street due to the number of vehicles and as you can see from the photo, there is no safe way to cross. Many drivers end up rolling through the stop-sign providing no clear safe opportunity to cross. LEO's do park on Haven Court to control traffic however it is a short term solution as vehicles revert back once the LEO's have left.

Our company, Synthego Corp, has locations on both sides of Haven Ave. and have had difficulties crossing the street safely.

Any solution to provide pedestrians a safe pathway to cross the street would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your consideration on this matter.

    Kind regards,

    Richard Galvez
    Facilities Manager
