This is my second posting to report this issue. The first posting claims that a Moderator is reviewing it. To me that means that all posting are screened to their liking.

The report is that the Homeless Encampment is moved from the other side of the fence into City of Oakland's City Streets. They do this because they need their weekly clean-up of their fifth. It's not rocket science to figure out their pattern. If you look at the attached photo, it looks the same as before but it is not. Just look at the date. They do this again, again and again. Same old scene but with a different date.

This area under the overpass is a constant problem: camps, tents, furniture, piles of trash and human feces with visible rodents and drug use - this area is a DISGRACE

I have had a series of issues this week with crime in our area.

On 9/15/2015, I was the victim of an attempted robbery. a man approached me with a sawn off shotgun and demanded my phone and my wallet. i refused to give him anything and urged him that this was not the right thing to do. he turned around and walked away. the police arrived within a minute of being called but were unable to find him after a sweep of the area.

the next morning, my girlfriend realized her car was broken into. they did not steal anything but broke her window.

today, 9/20/2015, My car was broken into. The criminal broke the back passenger door and looked through my car, opened my glove compartment and stole anything they could find.

It is absolutely ridiculous that all of these occurrences have happened and yet i have not seen any action by the Oakland Police Department. thee street is filled with broken glass and yet the city doesn't come to clean it up which just provides a basis for criminals to come by and break into cars. Even with a Armed and Dangerous criminal on the loose, i have not seen even the slightest increase in police paroling the area.

There needs to be pressure put on to the city officials and the Oakland police department. I am tired of being a victim and it is only a matter of time that someone becomes a vigilante to stop this crime.

I have decided to seek legal counsel to see if there is any action that may be taken against the city. Oakland needs to change if they want people to live here. and you can bet that the next time someone tries to rob me, they will be heading to the hospital since the police obviously cannot do their job.

Today, a large crew with heavy equipment and trucks kick-out and clean-up the homeless encampment behind the fence on Cal Tran Property. In total disbelief, they just moved all of the tents to the other side of the fence onto City Sidewalk right in front of the Cal Tran crew that was supervised by CHP !!!!! If you look at the photo, at the end of the block, you will see a grey tent with a red stripe on the bottom, behind this tent you can see the CHP patrol SUV. In other words, they set-up tent right in front of the CHP Officer and he could do nothing or don't want to do anything about it. Wow, I think we totally screwed !!!!
