  • 11574 Meadowmeer Circle Northeast Bainbridge Island, WA 98110, USA - Bainbridge Island
There is a large piece of rubber material buried at the outlet of Hawley Creek on eagle harbor. I would be more than happy to get some volunteers together to dig it out, but I want to make sure first that it is not some kind of buried infrastructure, but rather just buried trash.
  • Ne Bucklin Hill Rd Bainbridge Island, WA - Bainbridge Island
The speed limit needs to be reduced to 25 here. This stretch of road from Bucklin Hill Rd/Blakely Ave to where Lynwood Ctr Rd begins is congested and has no safe place for pedestrians or cyclists (including the middle school students). Drivers come around fairly blind corners in both directions. Heavy bicycle commuter and tourist traffic, and walkers have no safe place to be. Not the place for drivers to go 35+. Also: The school zone is largely ignored daily. Thank you.
  • Fort Ward Hill Rd Ne - Bainbridge Island
This section of roadway is dangerous as it is in complete disrepair. The lower half of this road was repaired two years ago, but this upper portion is so eroded that people drive off into ditch or swerve into oncoming traffic to avoid loose sections. I would think COBI would want to reduce their liability on this roadway.
  • 625 Winslow Way Bainbridge Island, WA - Bainbridge Island
    The Pepsi machine located beside the BI police building is in violation of the sign ordinance of COBI. 15.08.010. A)Promote health: NO; B)Harmonize design:NO; C) Attractive:NO; D) Reduce distractions: NO;
15.08.080. Externally lit: NO; Not illuminated between 10pm & 6am:NO The fact that it is on city property makes this particularly offensive. Please evaluate this apparent abuse.
  • Miller At New Brooklyn Bainbridge Island, WA 98110, USA - Bainbridge Island
Drivers proceeding south on Miller and north on Fletcher Bay Rd frequently ignore their respective stop sign at the intersection.
  • 247-499 Ferry Dock Bainbridge Island, WA 98110, USA - Bainbridge Island
    Gasoline spill into catch basins
  • 9141 Ne Salmon Run Ln Bainbridge Island, WA 98110, USA - Bainbridge Island
Owners of the property currently have a guest house they rent out as a B & B. In addition, without a permit, they are making the lower level of their house into an apartment without a permit. Code does not allow for multiple ADUs on a property. They have plumbing contractors and others at their house every week day so are moving right ahead without any regard for the local zoning and building code. They should know better because the owner is a former employee of COBI. If they want to use their home as a money-making machine they shouldbuy a multi-family property in an area where it iszoned for that, or move someplace where they are allowed to do whatever they want - perhaps back to Montana?
  • Meadowmeer Circle Northeast Bainbridge Island, Washington - Bainbridge Island
Meadowmeer Circle has no speed limit signs. Some of my neighbors drive quite quickly around the circle, and there are a number of young children in this neighborhood. I would love to see some speed limit signs added, the "drive 25 to keep kids alive" ones would be ideal from my perspective, if that's an option.
  • 300 High School Road Ne Bainbridge Island, WA - Bainbridge Island
Owner of jewelry store has had a trashy, distasteful sign propped up on the sidewalk simply to spite his neighbors, who have continually complained about it being a nuisance. This has now been removed and replaced with an ultra-large sign, that not only is a hazard, impeding visibility of High School Road for cars entering from the parking garage, but it may violate the city's statutes.
  • Intersection Baker Hill, Lynwood Ctr - Bainbridge Island
Have observed several drivers when they are eastbound on Baker Hill make the stop at Lynwood Ctr then proceed across as if they think its a 4 way stop. This has become a problem since some new signs and road markings have been installed at this intersection which give that impression. Have had to hit the brakes several times to avoid crashes when driving south on Lynwood Ctr to avoid cars suddenly entering the intersection from Baker Hill
