We need something to be done with the commute from Stansbury and Tooele, 1 small accident and everybody is stuck we have no other options to get into Salt Lake, at least 1-2 times a week we have something happen on I80 or state road 36 that causes back ups and is dangerous. Please help the community on the west side with another corridor or road.

Pothole at the beginning of the bridge deck. Getting worse by the day, dangerous for my small car. Please fix this problem.
  • Belt Route West Valley City, Utah - West Valley City
While traveling SB in the second lane from the left yesterday, 7/20/15, road debris was projected from another vehicle's tire into my vehicle, causing extensive damage to the grill, hood, and headlight areas. The State Trooper who called me informed me that there was no point in filing a police report because nobody else reported damage to their vehicle, and there were no witnesses. However, the damage evident in the photos indicates that a heavy and large piece of concrete from the road (which is in extremely poor condition) impacted my vehicle. The scraping and dents left a gray concrete-like residue.

There are tons of potholes in all of the lanes on the westbound I-80 bridge over the Surplus canal.

There's a manhole covering in this lane that's very deep. If you don't know it's there, you could put your car out of alignment. I don't understand why it was left this way.
  • I-15 S Salt Lake City, UT, 84116, USA - Rose Park
The "yield" on the eastbound-to-southbound ramp from 600 N to I-15 S is dangerous, and people tend to ignore that yield. The best solution (and probably not very expensive) would be to eliminate the yield and simply make the eastbound-to-southbound lane about a hundred yards longer with a merge instead of a yield. UDOT already does this sort of thing, for example, at the southbound 700E to westbound I-80 ramp just east of Sugar House.

I am a concerned motorist that frequently uses the southbound I-15 to 650 N off-ramp. I believe that clarification of the intended traffic pattern is needed on the right-hand turn lanes coming off the southbound I-15 off-ramp.
I frequently get off the freeway and turn right from the middle lane of the southbound off-ramp of I-15, only to have someone from the right lane turn wide and cut in front of me in the intersection to get into the left turn lane to turn south on main street. Motorists attempting to do this have nearly caused an accident on more than one occasion. Motorists sometimes attempt to do this during heavy traffic and block the traffic flow while they try to maneuver into the left turn lane. I have witnessed these problems often before the new right turn lane was created, and the new pattern has only seemed to make the maneuvering of vehicles into the left turn lane a more frequent and dangerous proposition. It has become a near-daily occurrence that one of these motorists cut me off.
Some clarification of the intended traffic flow may help motorists who want to go south on main street realize that the proper place for them to turn from is the middle lane of the off-ramp. Dotted lines in the intersection or signs clarifying traffic pattern may improve traffic flow and decrease risk of an accident. Thank you and I hope to see these improvements soon.

1745-1767 North Campus Drive Salt Lake City, Utah - East Bench
For those of us commuting through this route, the N Campus Drive closure is a major impediment as there are no easy detours, and there is a serious lack of signage. Nothing I saw on Foothill or Mario Cappechi indicated that I was headed for a dead end. And heading south last night there was also no signage on Federal Heights drive where I again hit a dead end.

Please put a sign PRIOR to 700 N when 2100 N is closed so those of us needing to exit can do so at 700 N instead of going down to Redwood. Thank you.

1010-1074 S West Temple Salt Lake City, UT, 84101, USA - People's Freeway

Happens every stinking day: I take the West Temple southbound detour at the 900 S West Temple interchange. At the point where we meet up with west temple again, as I am southbound, I DO have the right of way.

With VERY FEW EXCEPTIONS, traffic traveling south on West Temple (who have a clearly marked Yield sign!) never slow down and some have even flipped me off because I (safely) made the turn (or sometimes rolled to a stop because they were clearly not observing (or even aware?) of the yield sign.

I believe that additional road markings, or flashing lights (or SOMETHING other than leaving it as it is) is badly needed here. I have nearly been hit several times.
