Overgrown plant and the breeze blocking sidewalk the sidewalk is not usable between 73rd Avenue and 72nd Avenue on Ney Street. I have reported this issue before the city sent me an email saying the matter is closed nothing has been done no one has come out and picked up one piece of trash or cut down one overgrown Bush. If there is a reason the city of Oakland will not do anything about this street please let me know. Don't just email me the issue is closed. I have attached the same picture I originally sent.
Too many cars speed through this stop sign. A car crashed into parked cars at the intersection last month, because it was going so fast. We need a small concrete round a bout for traffic calming. There is a school 1/2 a block away. Does someone have to be seriously injured or killed before the city recognizes the danger at this intersection? Berkeley does this type of traffic calming all the time. It's past time for Oakland to follow.
AND the water keeps flowing from the drain under 6210, has been for 2 YEARS with no resolution from the City of Oakland or EBMUD. Public works DID NOTHING to resolve this WASTE of WATER during the severe drought we are in. Where is this water coming from? It's obviously not sewer water, so what/who can account for this CONSTANT stream of watere??????? What is going on??????????
6100-6106 Macarthur Boulevard Oakland, CA 94605, USA - Millsmont
Mac Arthur blvd from Millsview to 73rd (1.5 miles) was paved over a month ago. There have been no new lines painted on the road surface. The plastic temporary lane markers are wearing out and breaking off.
5910 Macarthur Boulevard Oakland, CA 94605, USA - Millsmont
The newspaper distribution boxes on the sidewalk next to the bus stop have not been in use for months. They are an eye sore given their state: broken, graffiti and rusting. The two newspaper companies need to remove these boxes if they will not fill them nor repair them as intended. The City of Oakland doesn't need additional eye sores in areas that are making an effort to improve their image.
6869 Simson Street Oakland, California - Millsmont
The home at 6869 Simson Street is occupied by Section 8 housing people. They dump their trash on the street and curb area, as well as the designated containers. The street appears to be a garbage dump near the cans. The renters do not tidy up the front of the property and it continuously looks like a pig sty. The owner of the property is out of the country, and there is no visible property management personnel to tell the tenants to clean up their mess. When confronted about the issue the tenants are belligerent.
