The dumpsters in the parking lot is always overflowing and all over the ground. Rats can be seen near the trash regularly. There is also quite a bit glass in the parking lot that seems to come from the bar that shares the same parking lot. The whole area is rarely cleaned.

  • 100 Leete St West Haven, CT - West Haven
This is never shoveled and is a busy area.
  • Campbell Ave West Haven, CT - West Haven

On Campbell ave, more specifically from the corners of Park St. to Atwater St., cars are always parking on the corners and it makes crossing Campbell Ave a real challenge. You need to move up so far into crossing traffic just to see and people drive too fast on Campbell to be able to judge anything.

A lot of these corners have parking spots painted on the street but they are just too close to the corners. Some people ignore these spots and park right on the corner, and that makes it impossible to see.

I cant tell you how many times Ive had to depend on the car opposing me to know when it is safe to cross Campbell Ave. Its pretty dangerous if you ask me.

  • Need Plowing Archived
21 Walnut Street West Haven, CT - West Haven
We have not seen a plow nor received any updates as to when we will get plowed. Communication is a necessity. I would suggest updating the West Haven Website with snow clearing updates .
  • Main Street West Haven, CT 06516, USA - West Haven
Main Street starting at Wagner Place all the way down to the green and a few other spots along the way need to be repaved. The road is terrible and puts a beaten on your car when driving on the road. It also makes the town look not so great. Let's do some beautification and repave some of the main roads in West Haven to perk up the scenery.
  • 340 Main Street West Haven, CT - West Haven
Before the city starts congratulating itself on clearing the streets, the administration and residents alike should ask themselves, "At what cost?" At intersection after intersection, 8-12 foot high mounds of snow are piled up at crosswalks and intersections, obstructing the ability of pedestrians to safely navigate the sidewalks (presuming the sidewalks are cleared, which in many cases are not). The message this ciy's administration routinely sends to pedestirans is this: YOU DON'T MATTER. Pedestrians are the sacrificial lambs as we bow to the almighty automobile.
  • Quigley Field Front Ave West Haven, CT - West Haven
    terrible holes in Quigley field
You can't even park your car the holes are so huge.
  • 309 Main Street West Haven, Connecticut - West Haven

Highly polluting Asphalt plant proposed for West Haven. This plant will pollute the air, with major toxins throughout the area, including areas of New Haven - West River and the Yale Bowl and Orange.

The people governing West Haven continue to destroy the city through bad planning.

  • 355 Main Street West Haven, CT - West Haven
Where are the police? West Haven residents should be livid. Over $10 million was budgeted for police and "public safety" resources. Where is the feedback from our elected officials? We ask for help --- more like begging -- with no resolutions. Asking to keep West Haven children safe, asking to keep our pedistrians and other drivers safe...It seems that asking people to do their jobs is too much! West Haven residents its time to be heard, its time to get involved. We need to push for change! Hold the people accountable and make them do their jobs -- our elected officials obviously can't or don't care too!
