    Large pothole at this intersection
  • 2624 Kensington Ave Richmond, VA 23220, USA - The Fan
A large pile of trash is located behind this residence. It has been growing in size for a couple weeks. I talked to the neighbors almost three weeks ago and they said that somebody from the city would be out to pick it up within ten days, that never happened. I have also noticed rodents (rats) taking up residence within the pile of trash. Shortly after that, I began to find signs that these rodents were in my apartment, which is right next to this trash pile. My landlord came over and laid traps and poison and a couple of days later I found a dead rodent in my living room. I need to pile to be removed as soon as possible, and if that means fines for my neighbor, then so be it. This is unacceptable, and I will be making phone calls daily until it is resolved. I have been more than patient with my neighbors and have reached the end of my rope with this problem. Below is a photo that was taken from my kitchen, this is the view I am greeted with everyday, it needs to end immediately.

Residents of the "Avalon" have dumped old furniture in the alley making it almost impassable. The trash cans are also not accessible due to the blockage. This is a continuous problem with this apartment building and residents.

Someone from the City of Richmond or VCU needs to empty the trash barrel at the western side of Harrison and the southern side of West Ave on a regular basis or remove it.

The alley (behind Cary Street Cafe) leading to the parking lot is full of several large potholes.

This is a real danger to any non SUVs using the lot.

One blocks the entire alley and is too wide to drive over or around requiring cards to drop into a 6 inch trench. 113 S Mulberry street,Richmond,VA

Potholes in the back alley of the 2200 block of Parkwood ave are pretty bad. Recently had some construction in the alley and the big trucks and such made them worse.

Hello there is toilet left out by the trash cans in the alley to the left of my house if facing that needs to be picked up by 11 N. Mulberry Street. The owner of the apartment building continually just leaves all of his trash out in the trash cans that is not standard trash when repairing the building. Also across the street to the right of 12 N. Mulberry there are two trash cans repeatedly left on the street creating extra trash in the street. I have been advised tenants should not continually leave trash cans on the sidewalk, yet they are always left there and no one addresses such.Trash cans are repeatedly left on the street up and down mulberry street between floyd and main. Attention to these matters is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Overgrown front, side and tree wells. Trash and indoor furniture on stoops
  • 2607 W. Cary St. Richmond, Virginia - The Fan
The potholes behind 2607 W. Cary St. have gotten very bad since I elevated my parking space this past year. The water used to flood my building but now it sits right behind my building. The standing water along with increased traffic for Ufab parking and deliveries for Bohland & Graham and Acacia restaurant have the alley in really bad shape. Last year you filled the holes with gravel but at this point it needs graded and paved to accommodate the increased traffic and to allow the water to flow all the way down the alley.
