From the photos you can clearly see it is this apartment building. Owner is operating a high volume AirBnB out of this building. "guests" are causing issues, we had to call police a week ago because a woman out front was yelling that she was being raped and someone dragged her from her vehicle.

The Festival of Speed is advertising an event until 11 PM tomorrow. We were told that city ordinance and rules prevent any event from happening after 10 PM. This is important to those of us that live near and hear all that goes on in the park and who enjoy the events but also need to sleep to work in the morning...
  • 426 11th Ave Ne Saint Petersburg, Florida - Historic Old Northeast

The construction projects going on at 426 11th Avenue NE and at Beach & 11th Ave NE have been using heavy trucks which have done extensive damage to 11th Avenue NE.

This issue was originally reported to the City back in December 2015 (Issue ID 2084296) but no effective action was taken by the City at that time, so the heavy trucks have continued to damage the bricks street.

Six months after the original "ClickFix" complaint, the damage done by the uncontrolled use of heavy trucks on this residential street is extensive. The overloaded trucks compressed the street surface and the bricks are buckling and the base of sand and gravel under the street has been crushed under the weight of thousands of truck loads.

At 11th Ave NE and Locust, the underlying road base is broken down, leaving deep grooves that are damaging the undercarriage of cars that drive by, and there is thick mud and stagnant pools of muck just West of Locust.

The brick street should all the way from Bay Street down to North Shore Blvd should be completely redone with the developers paying for it in full. All of the bricks should be removed, a new base of gravel and interlocking paving sand should be laid down, then the bricks should be re-laid.

We should also add some new drainage tiles under the brick street to allow the water run-off from storms to flow down into the storm sewer, instead the having the runoff pool on the damaged street (which is no longer effectively draining due to base compression).

I have a suggestion - I Love where I reside & I walk my dog about 8 blks. around my bldg. LITTERING IS RAMPANT on NE 4th & 5th Aves on a DAILY BASIS (sadly) but is DIRTY & QUITE EXCESSIVE AFTER ANY EVENT AT VINOY POINT OR WILLIAMS PARK. It's NOT as bad on Beach Drive, but still there is litter there too- but as attendees walk to their cars after these Big Events - it's horrid. I told an officer that initially upon moving here, I was picking up the trash until I picked up a potato chip bag FILLED WITH URINE! I would like to make a suggestion & request for SEVERAL TRASH RECEPTACLES ON EACH BKOCK - BOTH on 4th & 5th STREETS heading past University up to at least 2nd Ave. Additionally I feel because the receptacles are PAINTED BROWN people don't NOTICE THEM. I've had to LOOK for them myself. I feel our artistic City could support a "paint the trash can" type event & we could promote colorful beach & artistic designs in these "cans" to help them be NOTICED & USED BETTER. That's my request & suggestion. If I can help coordinate this - I am happy to do so. It truly upsets me; and I feel it demeans our beautiful city & I feel the painting project would just add more artistic beauty to our city like the mural projects. Thanks for your time!
