Northbound bike lane is reduced to foot-wide section. Bikes are forced to drive on double yellow against traffic.
Note: Sending a sidewalk plow down the bike lane at this stage is way too late and will achieve very little, because of the amount of snow and ice. This needs a big plow and should have been addressed during the parking ban(s).
I find it ridiculous that the right of way is given to two buildings on the water that is a private drive. Thousands of people use the Greenway and cross this daily. The road should have a stop sign and the Greenway should have right of way. Just a few hundred feet up the path at Driftwood the road has stop signs and the path has right of way. Please correct as I watch 80 path users cross this without a single car using it.
There is a crosswalk, but pedestrians never seem to have the right-of-way and there isn't an electric walk signal. This creates a very dangerous situation as you basically always have to jaywalk across the crosswalk. Please give a gap between greenlights so that pedestrians can cross and give us a signal.
There is almost always a truck parked on the sidewalk/bike path in front of Hal's Hitches and Welding. It's dangerous and inconvenient, as it requires cyclists to enter the street where there is no marked bike lane.
I am adding my complaint that this event was allowed to happen in this neighborhood. There were over 300 people with loud cars, burnouts, smoke, loud noise and driving up and down Flynn at speeds of more than 50 mph. They were serving food and liquor with no security. thank you to BPD for shutting it down.
This section of the sidewalk and green belt on Walnut st next to the community garden should be re-done. There is a whole section of the sidewalk missing that floods when it rains, and the green belt has large chunks of an old driveway in it. Please improve this area! Thank you!
