The sidewalks down this entire street are a mess, as is the road itself. If the city doesn't own this cemetery can they ask the owners to repair their own falling down fence as well? It's as if Raleigh gave up on this main road.
There is a large construction waste container positioned in the road near 901 E Martin St that is blocking the line of sight from the intersection of Freeman St and E Martin St. You cannot see oncoming cars traveling west on E Martin St from this intersection. It is very dangerous to go through this intersection or make a turn at at the intersection from Freeman St.
570-598 East Hargett Street Raleigh, North Carolina - South Central
Water seeping from crack in road. I have seen this for several months and saw some within the past week. Originally I thought this was just rain, but even when it has been dry, there is still a bit of water. I am concerned this may be a water main leak.
There is significant erosion of the stream banks adjacent to 1400 E. Davie St where storm runoff from Roberts Park comes through a culvert under the road. The area was recently cleared of vegetation exposing and exacerbating the existing erosion problem. The outfall at some point was paved and armored with riprap but there is active erosion beyond the initial outfall.
Abandoned vehicle. This vehicle has flat tires and broken windows and has not moved in months. It is almost blocking two driveways. When the snow comes it will hamper the street cleaning process and it is an eyesore for the street.
