Also found are needles and other items inconsistent within ABQ residential housing. Permanent solutions to benefit all parties. Students and school children exposed to possible hazards include: La Mesa Elementary, Hays Middle school, and Highlands High School residential.

    This is an abatement property. However, there has been someone living there full-time since December 2016. I am an US Army Veteran (Military Police) who operates a one-man volunteer mobile security service and have observed illict drug sales from this home on many occasions, at any time, day or night. I have made reports to 242-COPS in conjunction with of the neighborhood residents. The ABQ Abatement Office has failed to follow through with lodged complaints.

    I live across the street on Charleston, and am sick and tired of rousting people parking in our area to walk across the street and buy drugs from the folks living at Best Choice Motel. I'm also tired of chasing the hookers from the same motel out of our parking area who are servicing their johns right there in plain sight. Can't the cops do something about this motel? The owner knows yet turns a blind eye to keep his rooms rented. How about a sting operation? The drugs are in the rooms on the second floor rear, and the prostitutes are mostly second floor also. This has got to stop! I see the cops parked across central every day for whatever reason, but they never bust the motel or the dealers OR the prostitutes.....

    The rear of this property, on the south side of the garages in the rear parking are is where the tenants are disposing of open containers of used motor oil, rusted garbage cans of glass and whatever, trashed TV's, mattress's, box springs, wood, too much to list. Mice roaches and ?? also there. When it rains, the oil is going to go into the water table. The area needs to be cleaned up!
    Also, zoning needs to look at the illegally attached shed to the rear of the structure by the adjoining property owner who is now 3 feet over the property line, and in violation of the 3 foot rule to boot! Please have zoning or whomever fine these people and get the hazards cleaned up and the violations removed.
