there is a lot of trash entering the Tip O'Neil Tunnel from east MA pike heading north

Potholes on MA pike westbound onramp from Cambridge street eastbound.
  • Dead Tree Removal Acknowledged
Massachusetts Turnpike Boston, Massachusetts - Allston-Brighton
Noticed a tree fell on the wires running parallel to the train tracks that will fall into the tracks as well if the wires give way. Was driving on pike when I noticed.
  • Other Archived
Deernolm St Grafton, Massachusetts - Grafton
Under the MA pike overpass heading towards Millbury are hyperdermic needles on top of the snowbank. They have orange covers. Counted at least six.
  • Granby Rd & Montgomery St Chicopee, MA, 01020, USA - Chicopee
There needs to be left turn signals for each direction of traffic at this dangerous intersection. If you are traveling east on Granby Rd and want to make a left turn onto Montgomery (heading to Chicopee Comp) there needs to be a left turn arrow. And when traveling west on Granby Rd and want to make a left turn onto Montgomery (heading towards the Pike entrance) there needs to be a left turn arrow. Not only is it dangerous to make these left hand turns, it actually slows traffic as everyone is second guessing what other drivers are doing.
  • Bloody jacket Archived
Columbus Ave Boston, Massachusetts - Back Bay
There is a bloody jacket and paper towel on the railing at this location. Also blood on ground. All blood is dried. Columbus ave, right above the mass pike, south end side.
  • 120 Woodland Dr Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham

At the service plaza on the Westbound side of the Mass Pike, in between exits 12 and 13, there is a yellow gate in the back. This is presumably used by authorized personnel only.

However, recently I have noticed a substantial uptick in cars simply "cutting through" this area to avoid traffic and/or avoid paying a toll. This has resulted in increased traffic in the Woodland Rd/Audrea Rd/Florita Rd neighborhood. Often times this is late at night and neighbors of this quiet area aren't happy with the uptick in unauthorized use of that cut through.

Who's jurisdiction is this, can the gate be closed and locked aside from official use, and what can be done to enforce this? Thank you!

  • 63-135 Cambridge St Boston, MA 02134, USA - Allston-Brighton

40 mph speed limit onto City streets off Mass Pike is too fast

local officials say the state has to resolve this issue!

  • 62-98 Woodland Drive Framingham Massachusetts - Framingham
Cars Illegally Using Mass Pike Reststop to get off Pike. Can the get at the Mass Pike Westbound rest stop gate please be closed? Cars are illegally using it to get off the Mass pike and speeding Woodland Drive when they do so at all hours of the day and night. There seems to be a lot more traffic now and most are speeding up and down Woodland Drive as they come and go from the Mass Pike. I'm afraid one of the kids who live in the neighborhood are going to get hit one day by one of these speeders.
  • Massachusetts Turnpike Millbury, MA 01527, USA - Millbury
Transition to bridge on MA Pike after the 146 exit in Millbury, is so uneven, gutted out that our car sustained damage going over it.
  • Interstate 90 & Cambridge St Boston, MA 02134, USA - Allston-Brighton
On the off ramp from the Mass Pike eastbound, there are no lane markings. Photo shows confused cars. Are there 2 lanes? 3? 1?
  • Traffic Signal Acknowledged
91-97 Massachusetts Ave Boston, MA, 02115, USA - Back Bay
Please change the signalling at the intersection of Mass Ave and Newbury/Pike entrance. Vehicles turning right from Mass Ave onto the Pike do not look for bike and pedestrian traffic who have the green light and walk signal. Despite the flexposts, vehicles fail to yield every single day. Today I had a close call with a truck that was not signaling their turn, and not yielding. The cyclist in front of me had a close call with an SUV. Please change this to have a right arrow prohibiting right turns while traffic on Mass Ave has the green light. Then, have a separate right-turn-only phase (see Porter square where this has been resolved recently with separate phases). Please do this now before someone gets killed. If you look at the vision zero map for this intersection, it's full of complaints for vehicles not yielding.
