The county or city put Gator Bags on our trees--which was great--but they've not come to water them yet. It was an incredibly rainy spring, so up until now the trees haven't needed water, but now they really do. We've got around 15 trees in the parking lot area with gator bags and all of them need water. Almost all can be watered right from the parking lot. (Also: as long as you're out with the water truck, the city planted some new trees in Anderson Park (near Daisy Park), and they're looking pretty poorly and in need of water too.

I park across the street from my apartment, on New St. facing Orange Terrace. Twice, my vehicle has been broken into and vandalized. We need more light on this street, the thieves do not break into vehicles where there is plenty of light. Also, the thieves, when running, I cannot make out their faces. If I had an extra street light, I would at least be able to identify the perpetrators.
  • Tattnall Square Park Macon, Georgia - Macon
Several of the lights in Tattnall Square Park are burned out and need to be replaced. With the time change and earlier sunsets, this is a major security concern.
  • 1286 Linden Ave Macon, GA 31201, USA - Macon
This is rental property. The yard is not maintained well. There is some debris on the porch and in the yard. Attempts have been made to get the landlord to clean up the yard.
  • 1385 Ross Street Macon, GA 31201, USA - Macon
Stop sign and turn sign found laying on ground behind dead end barriers.
  • Tattnall Square - Macon
To the Macon-Bibb Public Works department:
Thank you for making the extra effort to walk into Tattnall Square Park to empty the trash bins after the busy weekend of picnicking by park visitors. I have been a small part of the volunteer effort to beautify that wonderful space, and it is encouraging to see your support for our grassroots efforts.
  • Lee St Macon, Georgia - Macon
Because traffic engineering made New st which runs parallel to Lee, one-way and with the speeding traffic we already had from Navicent Health employees, our short street has become a speed-way for people who do not even live in Bibb county plus the renters on New St. We have several families with young children, our garages and carports abutt Lee St. and at least three times, I have had vehicles swerve onto my apron to avoid facing traffic yet almost hit me and my vehicle. We as neighbors propose County closing off Lee St at the Maple ST. entrance to avoid the danger of loss of a little or adult life, collisions, hazardous conditions from speeding vehicles and the blind sighted area which exists.
  • 831 Adams St Macon, Georgia - Macon
Gate at Big Dog Park entrance is broken. Needs to be replaced. It looks as though it has been repaired haphazardly with bungee cords. I believe this is an important safety issue, because my dogs and I use this park at least once a week. If there are new dogs or aggressive dogs, the gate needs to be operational.
  • 1332 Jackson Street Macon, GA 31201, USA - Macon
1332 Jackson Street has broken front window and is unsecured.
  • 924 Linden Avenue Macon, Georgia - Macon
open door; interior already trashed (wires stolen, holes in walls, etc). Unoccupied 3+? yrs.
  • 1580 Lawton Ave Macon, GA - Macon
The side walk along Lawton Avenue on the even numbered side of the street between Adams and Linden is extremely cracked and uneven with grass and small tree growth in the cracks. The side walk is also raised about 12 inches above the road in places. These irregularities in the side walk pose a significant fall hazard. The sidewalk probably needs to be completely replaced in many.
  • 1095 College St Macon 31201, United States - Macon
Four strangers lifted a wheelchair-bound man over this gravelled sidewalk today. It’s been like this for two months.
