The Division of Public Works consists of five (5) operating departments including Roads, Water, Sanitary Sewer, Sanitation/Recycling, and Equipment & Repair. The various departments employ a total of 48 employees including supervisors, foremen, drivers, laborers, equipment operators, sewage treatment plant operators, water facility operators and mechanics.

    Birch Lane is in desperate need of new paving. Many years of rain, snow (freezing/unfreezing) has caused MAJOR huge potholes. They keep "patching" them which lasts about a week. This road needs to be PAVED!!

    Wondering if I can save my neighbor across the street a huge electric bill, (he personally pays for the street light,) while at the same time ridding my nighttime house from the powerful light beams invading EVERY room. ...Is there any way to get a more modern/efficient street light or at least darken the side of the light that faces my house? I have seen the lights that only shine down on the road with the sides of the fixture/glass globe painted. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. (We can't even see the projected snowflakes on our house for the Christmas season!)
