This area is unserviced by the city of New Haven. Many landlords are slum lords. LCI ignores most sidewalk and curb issues. DPW only attends to issues at their convenience.

Giant limbs keep falling from both trees in front of residency. One of the trees has been damaged by lightning. Neither tree has been trimmed in the last couple of years and the limbs have grown Dangerously big and unsafe. It is understandable that there is a backlog and you guys might be backed up but months or even years is not acceptable AT ALL... I clearly described the severity of this problem and from your response it sounds like you're not taking it seriously. Taxes are up to date on this house as well as Bill's, maintenance and anything that has to do with it. Therefore months or years is unacceptable and I need someone to get there ASAP conduct an evaluation do immediate tree trimming and put on the cut down list ASAP. This is a public hazard in a heavily populated residential area... as I explained before there have been vehicles that have been damaged due to giant tree limbs falling on them. As time goes by limbs are longer bigger and heavier and when it rains or there is wind the limbs get heavier and just fall. When the weather starts getting worse and the winter gets here snow and ice is going to be a big factor. They do not ask or say excuse me before falling. They are coming very close to the house gutters, windows, Etc. As I said before they have not landed on a person yet but it is just a matter of time before it happens. Someone will get severely injured or killed. I need someone to get in touch with me and let me know what is the next course of action to take when there is an extreme situation that can cause for someone to die or get really hurt? Do I need to call the mayor's office, the news, or who

The button for the walk/don't walk signal at the corner of Davenport and York is not working. It's the corner with the valet parking lot.

Ward street requires curb-to-curb snow clearance, especially adjacent to John C Daniels school. This is a designated drop-off area for small children. The street is severely narrowed because of unfinished snow plowing. Please clear the street so the kids can safely get into school.

Very dangerous situation. There is exposed, sharp and dangerous metal pipe from broken street sign on the sidewalk outside the school where the kids walk and board the buses. This needs immediate attention

There are some parking spots on York street directly across from the ER entrance to YNHH. These are important for family and visitors to the hospital. They are completely obliterated by piles of snow. The snow needs to be picked up by some dump trucks and taken to the lot near the Yale Baseball Field, as the city has been doing for years.

People park here all the time, without getting tickets. Just make sure to park on top of the little painted bike.

Corner of Orange and Chapel Sts. where bldg fell down, behind the blue tarp, there are at least 6 or 7 unused park benches just sitting there.
I would like them moved to Sylvan Ave. There is no where to sit on the entire street while waiting for the bus. Now that we have new sidewalks that we can walk down, why can't we have a few benches??

Howard Ave between Park and Congress has so many potholes, it's like a minefield. I ride my bike this way to work everyday, and I'm always terrified that I'll crash and burn in one of the numerous, deep potholes.
