I am a public watcher interested in fixing issues as quickly as possible after they arise. I don't "fixes" that do not permanently address the problem, nor do I want the fix to take so long that it creates an issue of its own.

Residents are running a commercial business from the home. Mulch and debris are constantly piled up. Mulch washes into the street and into the storm sewers.

I have a 5yr old this is unacceptable it has been this was sense before Halloween. I also asked them to make sure not to ruin my yard ! As my husband put a lot time and money into our yard which is now destroyed, the city workers said that y’all would be back to fix the problems and repair my yard and driveway. I haven’t even heard a thing from anybody. This is also a public safety issue, because of my driveway and mud that is now my yard. Please contact me and fix this.

Resume construction of New commercial development on HWY 72 & Mooresmill. Roads were cleared for this retail/business development, but nothing materialized. Retail shops, restaurants, theatre, hotel, and other businesses were part of the Harris Hills site plans dated 8/02/2007.

I have seen this dog reported last summer, in November 2018 and again earlier this month, yet she remains tethered outside in the back yard during these frigid temperatures. It was below freezing last night and she was tethered outside. I cannot find the report from earlier this month, but know I saw one. There is a no tethering ordinance for the city of Huntsville passed in November of last year.

Broken see saw. South side park - off of Chaney Thompson and near Aldridge Creek Greenway.

One of the see saws appears to be broken. Not balanced - kids are at risk of being flipped off.

    Recommend someone check it out

  • Chicamauga Trail Southeast Huntsville, Alabama - Huntsville
The speeding on this street is getting ridiculous. Cars are now beginning to pass other cars to get to the other end of chicamauga trail. Please see if more speed bumps or taller bumps could be added. Please contact HPD to actually enforce the speed limits.
  • 2455 Old Big Cove Rd owens cross roads, Alabama - Huntsville
The Yellow and White Lines on Old Big Cove Road, just past Fire station 19, and right Before River Ridge Development need to be Repainted. With limited lighting at night on that road, small bridges and drop offs in the ditch this is a safety hazard to vehicles driving in that area. The White lines are almost not visible during the day. Thanks, Nick
  • Astro Dog Spot Aldridge Creek Greenway, Huntsville, AL 35803, United States of America - Huntsville
Broken, splintered fence rails at Southside Park. Sharp, splintered ends pose safety hazard. Also, missing rails on this split-rail fence. Please repair/replace.

I noticed the city came last week and put notices on garbage cans that remain on the street . I guess those people didn't understand what the notice was for because the garbage cans are still on the street.
  • Invisible curbs Acknowledged
3600 Lakewood Rd Nw Huntsville, AL, 35811, USA - Huntsville
As you enter the neighborhood on Lakewood Road, off Mastin Lake, just past the island, the curbs on both sides are nearly invisible at night, especially when raining. Several cars have run up into the yards over the last several months. Would it be possible to put some sort of reflectors in this area and possibly the opposite side?
  • Hobbs Rd Se Huntsville, AL, 35803, USA - Huntsville
Request placing a gate or creating an opening in the black cyclone fence located on Aldridge Creek Greenway at the southern Hobbs Rd Crossing. When Aldridge Creek over-flows the greenway at Hobbs, the only way to pass through to the other side of the Greenway is to cut through Challenger School. This over-flow happens multiple times per year – see photo from this morning. Folks have improvised and created a makeshift opening in the cyclone fence (see bottom photo), which the city has needlessly paid to repair several times. A “real official” opening or gate would not only look better, it will better protect the children of Challenger School from the increased Greenway traffic when Aldridge Creek over flows the Greenway.
