I am a public watcher interested in fixing issues as quickly as possible after they arise. I don't "fixes" that do not permanently address the problem, nor do I want the fix to take so long that it creates an issue of its own.

A telcom contractor is adding more cable to an old pole marked for over a year to be replaced and is being held up to the new pole with wire. Why doesn't the city enforce the agreement with these companies and force them to move their lines to the new poles?

    Pavilion missing in city park.
The sun beats down on the metal tables and makes it so citizens feel obligated to move them into the shade and not return them to the pads.
As seen in most all other parks with playgrounds, a pavilion would be a more than welcomed addition to our communities park.
Fixing this issue would help the safety of our families.

The tennis courts at California Street Park need some attention. Leaves and debris stay on the courts year round. Mud washes onto the courts during heavy rain. The asphalt path from the parking lot has been raised by tree roots creating a tripping hazard. A simple fix for the courts would be to have the landscaping crew blow them off each time they mow the surrounding grass area.

Most large cities that I visit have dog bag stations at their parks. This encourages owners to pick up their waste and allows for citations when owners do not. I think Big Spring Park and other parks throughout town would benefit

5-7 non registered vehicles on property and street. Along with 2 trailers. And a full size dumpster.
Community eye sore and possibly a liability due to lane blockage and traffic coming and going. All cars have a dealer tag. Same home has a motorcycle going up and down street.

There is junk/trash on lot at 812 Rison Avenue, this probably needs to go to Huntsville Community Development. Thank you!

What is it going to take for some form of enforcement on speeding issues on Chicamauga Trail!!! Wreck, injury, the news!

The issue was closed by the city but no information regarding the issue. The speeding is getting ridiculous. What about a speed sign that lights up and takes pictures of license plates and shows speed, traffic patrol, redirection of traffic, more speed bumps, something.

This cable has been running from the box, across the sidewalk, down the gutter, and back up across the sidewalk two houses down since Sept 1, 2018, and for an unknown amount of time before (we saw it when looking at the house around Labor Day, then we bought the house and moved in, and there's been no change). We have contacted WOW three times in the last 4 weeks, and contrary to their promises to take care of it right away, nothing has been done. Is this violating any city ordinance? Could the city contact WOW and strongly encourage them to take care of this?

TV cable not buried. Replaced months ago, and still lying out in yards.

Speed bumps have been a nice addition to Midtowne on the Park and has helped deterred some speeding. Unfortunately, drivers can avoid speed bumps on Pegasus Drive and Midtowne Lane by squeezing between the bump and the curb.

This has created a risk for homeowners checking their mailboxes as cars come close to the curb at fast speeds. Also, the curb next to the speed bumps are getting damaged by cars colliding with the curb while driving at a fast speed to avoid the bump.

Drivers trying to avoid the speed bumps also create traffic confusion as it sometimes appear they are trying to pull over to stop to park, tricking drivers behind them who may start to drive around them.

Is there anything that can be done to modify our speed bumps that will prevent drivers from driving around them on the curb side?

    Thank you,
    Concerned Resident
